Who else loves GRANOLA? 😋
When it comes to picking out a good type or brand of granola, it can be quite overwhelming as there are literally SO many options available these days! 😅
For me, I generally enjoy making my own granola (either in bulk batches or single serves) as I can adjust the ingredients and flavours to how I like it AND it’s a lot cheaper than paying for all those fancy packaging and brands that you can literally make yourself for half the cost 🙌🏼
A lot of granolas also contain a lot of unnecessary ingredients that are added for no real reason and only decreases the nutritional value. These include things like oil, sugar, salt, preservatives etc.
Not to mention it’s also SO much more environmentally friendly to make your own granola. As you can get all your ingredients from bulk food stores, and you’re not constantly buying/throwing away the packaging 🌿
HOWEVER, in saying this...
I do have a few brands that I generally LOVE to buy, not only as they taste AMAZING, they also contain minimal ingredients and are made locally 🌏
My favourite brand to purchase at the moment is definitely @conscious_craves_foods ✨ hands down one of the BEST granolas I’ve ever tried!! And their kale chips... don’t even get me started 🤤 honestly guys, do yourself a favour try out these incredible products 🌈
I’ve been enjoying this all week 😍 Seriously a GAME. CHANGER! It’s somewhere between “orange chicken” and “sweet and sour chicken” — but would you guess it’s crispy cauliflower!? (I don’t even really like cauliflower!🤷🏼♀️) The batter & sweet ‘n’ tangy sauce make you feel like you’re over-indulging — but paired with brown rice (& sans chicken), it’s a healthy spin on the traditional dishes. Would vegan Mickey waffles taste better in Hawaii? 🤔 I’m thinking YES!
You can find the Makahiki Character Breakfast Buffet at Aulani a Disney Resort & Spa in Hawaii.
This casual, family-friendly restaurant is named for the Makahiki season, the traditional Hawaiian celebration of the harvest. Here, the spirit of Makahiki is celebrated through delectable cuisine and local artwork.
This gorgeous plate of 🍓 fruit and waffles is just one of the dishes that is offered to plant based guests when dining here.

Two little noodles, sitting on a stoop in Soho, eating and drinking acai 🍓sipped through my sweet metal straw and spooned with the cutest bamboo spoon that I bought from the best shop to have ever stumbled across @packagefreeshop. Low waste travelling has been a learning experience and I'm by no means perfect but I'm trying really hard + getting pretty fired up passionate about it too. My number one tip is BE PREPARED! Which seems kind of obvious but you'd be surprised how easy it is to just forget about something as simple as your own spoon and fork when you're setting off on a trip. The plastic cup and bowl are made from compostable plant based materials, which makes me feel better, but still feels inherently wasteful so ??? I don't know, does anyone know much about the compostable plastic replacements? Do they work? PS, I've been craving a good acai bowl so badly with the heatttt but I'm yet to find the perfect one; does anyone have any nyc acai recommendations? These are from @playabowlsnyc which were good but SO friggin sweet and I'm more of an acai-as-a-meal rather than acai-for-dessert kind of gal, ya feel? Unsweetened acai pls 💫
It's market weekend! And Alberta local food week! Did you know veganism is the single biggest way to reduce your environmental impact on earth? You don't have to believe me, that's what a new study from Oxford University says. Also something to think about while mother earth is smoking us out. But!!!! Reducing your carbon footprint and saving animals doesn't mean you have to miss out on all your favourites, and ya girl is here to prove it!

3-course Japanese style lunch set at @mum_veggie_cafe 🇯🇵🍱We ordered two sets and tried out 6 small dishes. The burdock and eggplant were really nice, but the other dishes and the soup were a bit bland. If you are looking for healthy and non-greasy option they are for ya! They offer both veggie and vegan options so make sure you pick the ones without eggs!
📍: Mum Veggie Cafe
💰: $100 per lunch set, with 3 courses, soup, rice, and tea 💸
😍: ⭐⭐⭐out of 5
ITS FINALLY HERE!
My super simple, 7-Ingredient, Grain-free, sugar-free, paleo & vegan paaaaancakes!!
Not to toot my own horn or anything but they are actually really good. You can enjoy with my nut butter syrup recipe, with maple syrup, or whatever else you’d like! -
Run home and make these ASAP! Also.. they are Satya approved so.... yea!
The link to the recipe is in my bio ✌🏼
Deep fried nut cheese 🙀. Serve it up with baked vegetables, as a compliment to steamed vegetables, cut them up and toss them into a risotto or just simply toss them into a salad. They are all winners in my eyes😸
On my way to New York City. 🌇 // For a refreshing zesty way to wake up, I always have one glass of water with fresh lemon (unless I’m dry fasting). ☀️🍋 Lemons are an acidic fruit, but has alkalinizing within our bodies (the citric acid does not create acidity in the body once metabolized). On top of all that, lemons are a great source of folate and potassium and an excellent source of Vitamin C.
