#Repost from @365cleaneats with @regram.app ... Raw cookies & cream cups🌱
Happy Friday! Today’s recipe is a raw, vegan, and gluten free version of everyone’s favourite: cookies and cream! Hope you like it as much as I do💓💓
1/2 cup (50g) Raw walnuts
2 pitted Medjool dates
1 tbsp raw cacao powder
1 tbsp raw cacao nib
1/8 tsp good quality natural salt
3/4 cup (150g) melted cacao butter
3/4 cup (90g) raw macadamia (soaked 2 hours and rinsed)
3-4 tbsp raw agave or maple syrup
1 tbsp unsweetened almond milk
1. In a food processor place every ingredient for the cookie and process until well processed but still slightly crumbly.
2. Roll the cookie mixture into small balls and scatter half of them into small silicone moulds or a lined baking tin.
3. Place every ingredient for the cream in a high speed blender and process well until smooth. Add more sweetener if you need.
4. Pour the cream mixture over the balls and scatter rest of the balls on the top.
5. Put it in a freezer until sets. (About 1 hour)
Note: You don’t need to use all the cookie mixture. You can make bliss balls with the leftover. .

Warming Carrot Bisque! I had 2 lbs. of carrots from the farmer’s market, so I challenged myself to make a carrot bisque without looking online or at a cookbook. It was so easy and turned out AMAZING! I’ll post the recipe to my blog very soon. As soon as it’s up and running. (As soon as I get over my perfectionist tendencies 😬). #vegan#vegansoup#vegandinnerideas#plantbased#plantbaseddiet#veganfoodie
If you’re from Texas, you probably consider Texmex as part of the food pyramid. Luckily we have @gorditasmexico with a separate vegan menu to cure our cravings 🤩🙌🏼 This is the Chimichanga! Warm, full of mushrooms, SO flavorful, and crispy yet chewy. Oh and their salsa is some of the best I’ve ever had. #TEXMEX
Sacramento Vegan Chef Challenge is going on this month, where various restaurants are bringing vegan dining into the mainstream. I had an amazing outdoor patio dining experience today with delicious food. Check it out before it ends!!
The impossible burger at @fatburger was delicious 🙌🏻 @theimpossibleburger @impossible_foods I’m so happy that there is a demand in fast food for plant based options 🌱 will def be getting this again. You can customize to make it fully vegan - without the mayo
A little over a month ago I was thinking of creative ways to bring @shit_vegans_eat to life. Ways to share the good will of veganism all while dispelling the myth that all we eat are salads and bird food but more importantly use my creative approach to educate and broaden ppls palette.
I challenged myself to offer FREE meals to 25 ppl by ways of a pilot/beta group no matter the location, in return each participate had to pay shipping cost. I provide the meals you front shipping & handling.
Let me tell you, as promised my first batch went out this morning and it wasn’t a easy task but so freaking rewarding to SHARE my love for food. I literally got back from vacation in South Africa this past week and hit the road running visiting markets and stores in preparation. Tall task indeed, but it was important to follow- through on my promise, but chile I’m tired. Snippets of some of the items I provided. I only committed to three meals, but my heart gave five. .
Ready to do it again.

Today I was so tired after a long character class and I wanted to make these cute protein balls that are perfect for fall!! 🍁 I made up the recipe with some ingredients I have in my dorm room :)
They’re a great source of healthy carbs and fats as well as protein, so it’s a great snack filled with energy!
1 cup oat bran (or instant oats)
3 tablespoons nut butter
3/4 cup coco nibs/chips
2 tablespoons ground flaxseeds
2 tablespoons hemp seeds
1 tsp coconut oil
1 tsp vanilla extract
6 Brazil nuts, crushed
Dash of cinnamon
Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl, then add wet ingredients with them, adding in some water to help mix the oat bran, then roll out little balls and refrigerate to enjoy!! :)
