Tofu Tonkatsu, garlicky bok choy, toasted sesame rice noodles and sugar snap peas by @cookingforpeanuts 💚 Recipe:⠀ For the Tofu:⠀ Press one 14oz block of tofu to remove excess liquid (or buy pre-pressed sprouted tofu).⠀ Cut into 1/2 inch cubes. Coat in olive oil and bake on parchment-lined baking sheet at 400F until golden.⠀ ⠀ 
For the Sauce:⠀ Whisk in small saucepan on medium-low heat until heated through: 1/3 cup tomato paste, 2 tbsp tamari or soy sauce, 2 tbsp vegan Worcestershire sauce, 2-3 tsp maple syrup, 1 tbsp rice vinegar, 1 tbsp sriracha, 2-3 tsp mirin. Adjust according to taste. Mix baked tofu and sauce together and serve.

Garlic Mushroom and Spinach Pizza by @biancazapatka 💚 
Recipe:⠀ Ingredients⠀ 
1 batch vegan pizza dough (1/2 lbs) (gluten-free, if desired)⠀ Spinach Cheese:⠀ 7 oz spinach (200 g) fresh or frozen⠀ 
3 garlic cloves salt, pepper to taste⠀ 
2/3 cup dairy-free cream cheese (150 g)⠀ 3/4 cup dairy-free cheese (75 g) shredded⠀ ⠀ 
Roasted mushrooms:⠀ 1 tbsp olive oil⠀ 
5 oz mushrooms (150 g)⠀ salt to taste⠀ 
Topping:⠀ 2 tbsp pine nuts⠀ ⠀ 
Instructions:

Heat your oven to 400°F (200°C).⠀ Roll out your pizza dough with a rolling pin. Place the pizza dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. (You can also use a pizza pan or pizza stone).⠀ If using frozen spinach, simply thaw and squeeze the liquid. If using fresh spinach, bring salted water to a boil in a pot. Add spinach and cook for 1-2 minutes until it starts to wilt. Then squeeze the spinach well and chop roughly.⠀ Heat up a little oil in a small pan and roast garlic for 30 seconds while stirring. Then add the cream cheese along with the spinach. Season with salt and pepper to taste and stir to combine.Spread the spinach cream mixture over your pizza dough followed by vegan cheese.Bake the pizza for about 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted.In the meantime, fry mushrooms in a pan with some oil for 6-8 minutes until golden browned. Add a little salt to taste.Toast pine nuts in another pan without adding any oil.When your pizza is done top with mushrooms and pine nuts if using.

Round crispbreads with two different toppings: home-made jam, and a chocolate spread, loaded with fresh cranberries, cape gooseberries and pomegranate seeds 😋. I made the chocolate spread from cashew pulp (leftovers from making cashew milk), cacao, vanilla essence, and maple syrup. I am not entirely happy with the spread yet; a little bit too bitter for my taste. Runde Knäckebrote mit frischen Früchten und entweder Mirabellen-Marmelade drunter oder ein Schokoaufstrich. Den habe ich aus den Pulp-Resten von meiner Cashewmilch gemacht und Kakao, Vanille und Ahornsirup. Ich bin noch nicht 100%ig zufrieden mit dem Rezept (für meinen Geschmack einen Tick zu bitter), wenn ihr noch andere Ideen habt, lasst es mich wissen 🤗

How was this even possible! Dr’s said I can get back to light exercise now. I have no idea how I didn’t gain. I binged like a mofo this weekend. I ate a 6pack of mince pies in 2 days. I’m feeling a bit better. The palpitations & shortness of breath isn’t happening as often. No diagnosis really they are just saying possibly labyrinthitis and a cheat infection 🙄. -

It’s been... quite a week, friends. I’ve finally finished up this semester, while unfortunately breaking my perfect immunity streak against getting sick. This is honestly the first time in a long time I’ve ever gotten seriously sick to where I’ve even considered wanting to take medicine. It’s what I get from eating so much junk the last few months and like... literally only two vegetables. I’m exhausting all of my options and every recipe I could possibly come up with before that happens. Which brings us here, to this stuff. Turmeric, ginger, lemon, water. I’ve been living on tea and soup the last few days, and this really soothes my throat and cough-even if only temporarily. I’ll be back to posting regularly soon, but I wasn’t expecting to be bounded to my couch right now. Let me get over this one, & I’ll be back super soon. 🌱 ❤️

You'll definitely want to save this paleo sweet potato burger recipe to make on the 4th!! They're packed with flavor, didn't take long at all to make and they're sure to be a hit with anyone 😌 These burgs are gluten free & dairy free-- but feel free to choose any toppings you'd like! I opted for lettuce, avocado and  sweetened only with honey 🍯 The recipe has simple ingredients and the ketchup does too. Plus, it tastes amazing! (and so good with sweet potato fries 🙌🙌)
Organic Turkey Burgers:
1 lb organic ground turkey (can sub for organic chicken or grass-fed beef)
1/3 cup chopped spinach or collard greens
1/2 diced bell pepper
1 tsp cumin
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
1/2 tsp red chili flakes
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 extra wide sweet potato
Directions:
Combine all ingredients, excluding sweet potato, in large bowl and mix together. Form into patties. Heat oil in a pan on medium until hot but not smoking, then place burger patties in pan and let cook about 5-8 minutes either side. Cover pan with lid to speed up cooking time. Slice sweet potato into 1/2-inch thick rounds and place on parchment paper covered baking sheet. Spray lightly with avocado oil and BROIL in the oven, center rack, high heat (525 degrees F) for about 6-8 minutes either side, or until they start to turn golden and bubble. Form burgers with sweet potato rounds, mixed greens, avocado and condiments. Enjoy! 🍔🍟

I eat eggs. Me: ok sure 😂student 2 and 3: you are the only healthy vegan we know. The others look like they will die next week. Me: ok 😂Student 4(almost 70 years old): I am actually thinking about a plant based diet. Зима-сезон капхи и ваты.

•В это время года важно никуда не спешить, больше спать. Вставать можно чуть позднее обычного так как солнце встаёт позже, но спать слишком долго и спать днём не рекомендуется так как это увеличивает Капху (слизь в организме). Ложиться спать лучше всего в одно и тоже время, не позднее 23:00.

•Зимой очень не рекомендуется голодать, пропускать приемы пищи, перекусывать между приемами пищи, есть на ночь и переедать.
⠀
•Основа рациона: тёплые каши, приготовленные овощи (особенно свекла, редька, морковь), бобовые, супы, компоты, мед, чаи, гхи, сезонные фрукты (хурма, гранат). Вся пища должна быть тёплой, плотной и маслянистой.
⠀
•Очень рекомендуется добавлять в пищу разогревающие специи: лавровый лист, чёрный перец, куркуму, кумин, кардамон.
⠀
•Зимой многие прибавляют вес и это нормально. Худеть зимой очень не рекомендуется, лучше оставить эту затею до весны/лета (а ещё лучше оставить ее совсем 😀).

•Для улучшения пищеварения очень хорошо жевать после еды фенхель.
⠀
•Зима-самое лучшее время для занятий спортом. Если у вас сухая кожа, то очень хорошо промасливать ее перед тренировкой.

•Для поднятия иммунитета: имбирный чай с мятой, лимоном, перцем и кардамоном.
⠀
•Очень полезно закапывать в нос масло Ану (можно использовать кунжутное или оливковое) и дышать над паром. Особенно для людей с синуситами, гайморитами итд.

•Для хорошей работы нервной системы, которая особо страдает к концу года и для крепкого сна, очень рекомендуется делать перед сном массаж головы с тёплым маслом амлы и массаж стоп с тёплым кунжутным маслом ✨

•И не забывайте, что в это время года тепло должно быть везде: в отношениях, в еде, в одежде и в общении ❄️💫

Ложиться спать лучше всего в одно и тоже время, не позднее 23:00. ⠀ •Зимой очень не рекомендуется голодать, пропускать приемы пищи, перекусывать между приемами пищи, есть на ночь и переедать. ⠀ •Основа рациона: тёплые каши, приготовленные овощи (особенно свекла, редька, морковь), бобовые, супы, компоты, мед, чаи, гхи, сезонные фрукты (хурма, гранат). Вся пища должна быть тёплой, плотной и маслянистой. ⠀ •Очень рекомендуется добавлять в пищу разогревающие специи: лавровый лист, чёрный перец, куркуму, кумин, кардамон. ⠀ •Зимой многие прибавляют вес и это нормально. Худеть зимой очень не рекомендуется, лучше оставить эту затею до весны/лета (а ещё лучше оставить ее совсем 😀). ⠀ •Для улучшения пищеварения очень хорошо жевать после еды фенхель. ⠀ •Зима-самое лучшее время для занятий спортом. Если у вас сухая кожа, то очень хорошо промасливать ее перед тренировкой. ⠀ •Для поднятия иммунитета: имбирный чай с мятой, лимоном, перцем и кардамоном. ⠀ •Очень полезно закапывать в нос масло Ану (можно использовать кунжутное или оливковое) и дышать над паром. Особенно для людей с синуситами, гайморитами итд. ⠀ •Для хорошей работы нервной системы, которая особо страдает к концу года и для крепкого сна, очень рекомендуется делать перед сном массаж головы с тёплым маслом амлы и массаж стоп с тёплым кунжутным маслом ✨ ⠀ •И не забывайте, что в это время года тепло должно быть везде: в отношениях, в еде, в одежде и в общении ❄️💫

👉Ingredientes para o molho:
🔹️1/2 xíc. de tahine;
🔹️3 colheres de sopa de azeite
🔹️2 colheres de chá de cúrcuma;
🔹️2 colheres de chá de páprica;
🔹️1 colher de chá de alho em pó;
🔹️1 colher de chá de chili powder;
🔹️1 colher de chá de cominho em pó;
🔹️1 1/2 colher de sopa de sal marinho.

Nearing the end for this Kale microgreens test. Reuse of fiber mat went very well. In the foreground, stalks of cut microgreens that were not reseeded- didn’t regrow. In the background, some of the original cut stalks that were reseeded can be seen. Fresh microgreens are super healthy, taste amazing (never bitter at this stage), and affordable. Enjoy!

Goooood morning! What a difference it makes squeezing in my yoga and celery juice in the morning! Before I got pregnant, I didn’t miss celery juice or yoga in the morning ever. It’s taken a while to get back into my routine, and that’s OK. But, here we are! Honestly, it sounds corny, but the high I get from this nice little combo is incomparable to anything else. Granted, now I squeeze in waking up earlier, pumping for Noa, and making sure she’s all set for the day before I get to self care. It just works for me. What’s your morning routine?

Curry is definitely one of my favourite foods, so versatile, easy to pack full of veg and change up the flavours with just a little more or less of your favourite spices. Made this using @tofooco oriental tofu and was so delicious 😋

350 flour

4 baking powder

2 golden flax egg

180 sugar

1/2Salt

4 vanilla

8 table spoon oil

350  soy milk

Strawberry sauce  1 cut frozen strawberries
1/4 sugar

Preheat oven 180c

In a saucepan add frozen strawberries and sugar. Simmer until soft and mash then with a fork.

Sift  flour, baking powder and salt together

Add sugar in the sifted mixture

In a separate bowl: mix  milk, oil, flax egg and vanilla

Once mixed well mix dry and wet ingredients until combine. Don't over mix.

Prepare your  muffin  tin with muffin cups.
Add the butter into the prepared muffin cups.
Add one tea spoon of the ready prepared strawberry sauce into the muffin tin on top of the butter and use a chopstick to mix it into the butter.

Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean.

🌿🌿🌿 Creamy Pinto Beans {organically grown in Saskatchewan and available @eatgrain} with roasted zucchini, carrots, olives and tomato ‘jam’. I cooked these beans in olive oil and bay leaf for something different ~ they turned out pretty nice I think 🤓.
