Pois é, esse foi o meu caso com a Monte Pelmo 😍. A sorveteria realmente é a melhor da ilha 🍦✨! Os sorvetes a base de água são veganos e os sabores são todos de frutas, e nem por isso deixa a desejar, porque eles realmente sabem como deixar algo extremamente delicioso e cremoso. Se você ainda não conhece a Monte Pelmo, não perde tempo, porque a temporada está logo ali e as filas nessa época são gigantes! Na foto, os sabores escolhidos foram: Manga, Limão com Manjericão (meu favorito), abacate (ele é bem cremoso, se vc gosta da fruta vai amar de certeza). A casquinha também está liberada, galera ✌🏻️. A Monte Pelmo fica localizada nas Gaivotas e agora na baixa temporada funciona apenas sábado e domingo, das 11h-21h. 설탕 대용으로 사용하면 최고.
대추, 치아씨드, 아마씨가루, 귀리, 카카오닙스,
코코아가루, 녹차가루, 멀베리가루, 견과류버터
이렇게 모두모두 믹스해서 동글려주면 끝.
하나도 들어가지 않은
완전 비건 건강식 디저트 및 간식
언니가 뭔 쇠똥이냐 했으나
내겐 넘나 소중하고 맛난 아이들.

Hey everyone!! Did y’all miss me?👻 Sorry for the long hiatus:( But I’m finally back with making delicious vegan desserts 😝 This is my first attempt at making a gluten & refined sugar free vegan cookie!! And it turns out surprisingly good and crunchy!! Yum!! Although there’s still much more improvement to make it perfect 😍
Favorite ice cream on the island for sure! This vegan gelato is so creamy thanks to arrow root and coconut milk 🥥 the flavors are amazing my favorite is golden macadamia nut. As a vegetarian who is vegan-ish, you would never know this wasn’t made with dairy! The girl who runs it is so sweet and accommodating to sample the many tastes! It’s in a cute neighborhood with a few seats on the street. We came here several times but were sad they weren’t open on Sunday. Check it out if your ever on big island!

GF Vegan Black Bean Walnut Brownies
1 can of black beans
3/4 cup of GF flour (I used Teff flour)
1/3 cup of soy milk
1/3 cup of melted coconut oil
1/4 cup of maple syrup
100gr of vegan cooking dark chocolate melted
2 tbsp of cacao powder
1/2 tsp of baking powder
1 tsp of vanilla extract
1/4 tsp of salt
1/3 cup of chopped walnuts
1. Preheat your oven to 200 degrees Celsius
2. Blend a can of black beans in a food processor then add the rest of the ingredients apart from the walnuts.
3. Line a brownie tin with baking paper then spread the brownie batter and add in the walnuts.
4. Cook at 200 degrees Celsius for 30-35 minutes.

Decided I’m going to pivot my page a little and actually start “cookin the books” — as in recipe books 😏😏
In addition to posting my recipes/foodz im going to choose 1 recipe/week (from a recipe book, blogger, insta post - whatever!) and post all about where I bought the ingredients, ease of the recipe, any modifications I made, overall taste/rating, etc!
SOOO starting with @rachaelsgoodeats mars bars! I bought all of the ingredients at @traderjoes except for the dark chocolate coating which is a @theochocolate bar 🤤. This recipe was superrr easy to follow and almost all of the ingredients are pantry staples! I used half of the designated coconut oil for the “filling” and am happy I did because the filling was “wet” enough and is soft even when frozen.
Overall — OBSESSED!!!! Seriously so delicious, I look forward to one (or 5) after work every day 💖💖
Raw cheesecake with passion fruit! I love to eat what I make. I love cooking healthy because not only it taste great but It really makes me feel so good after. When I don't eat as well I feel tired and weighed down. This as No eggs, No flour, No sugar, No dariy and it's all raw not cooked. Which helps get the most nutritional value, apart from being also Nut (cashews) based you also get more protein then your traditional cheesecake. This was heaven happening in my mouth!! Inspired by my Costa Rica friends!
Cheesecake crude vegano con maracuya. Me encanta cocinar sano, no solamente sabe rico sino también te ase sentir bien después de comerlo. Cuando no cómo igual me siento cansada y pesada. Esto Está abase de nueces, No huevo, No leche, No harina, No azúcar y todo crudo sin cocinar. Eso ayuda a absorber más nutrition mejor al cuerpo, esto tiñe más proteína que el cheesecake traditional.

🍪 @nightowlcookies finally came out with a vegan cookie! Each bite was soft, warm and, gooey. Best of all, its overloaded with chocolate chips that will melt the second they touch your mouth. Thank you @studyrxig for saving me one! If you try it, let me know how you like it. #vegancookies
Another great post by @jacked.on.plants comparing different types of protein. This one hits close to home since I was a meat head for 10+ years, always looking for the cheapest chicken breasts to buy in bulk and the cheapest whey protein online. I would stay eating chicken, ground turkey and whey protein every single day, hit at least 200g of protein and eat tons of cholesterol, not thinking about the effects it would have on my body long term. The problem with the view of protein globally today is where we’re getting the majority of it from: ANIMALS.
Regardless of the many different opinions on whether meat is healthy or not as a part of your regular diets, we can’t ignore the fact that meat consumption is causing major environmental, health, and humanitarian problems.
When you put all the pieces together, it’s time we start looking for a real sustainable alternative. -
PLANTS 💚are that healthy alternative.
Ok cool - that’s great but I’m not a tree hugger mate and I just wanna put on some mass!!...💪🏻you can’t build muscle with plants really?
You may have read that plant based proteins are not as bioavailable as their meat and dairy based counterparts, or that they don’t contain as much leucine, which limits their muscle growth potential. While this may be scientifically true it won’t stop you packing on mass and it doesn’t make plant based protein inadequate for the job at hand.
It might be a lesser concentration but over a full day of eating, when you’re eating a balanced and high calorie plant based diet you’re gonna be getting your protein from nutrient and fibre rich sources which will give you a full roster of essential amino acids.
It will also jack up your overall health - win win right?✅
