Doing my best to eat well during midterms week, so here’s another nice cream bowl: 1 cup banana, 1/2 cup berries, 1/2 cup mango, and 1/2 cup almond milk blended until smooth and topped with @purely_elizabeth granola and @enjoylifefoods chocolate chips. Enjoy!

I hated my body for most of my life.
I was a dancer for over 10 years, and I modeled for about 3 years.
Both environments can be extremely toxic to ones mental health.
I suffered from an eating disorder and constantly told myself I wasn’t good enough and had to improve.
It didn’t help being in an industry with such an unrealistic take on what a women’s body should be.
I felt like I was just a mannequin and not a real human.
I was told my hips were 2 inches too big,
I was told my shoulders weren’t big enough,
I was told my skin was so bad and to come back once it clears up,
I was told such horrible things with no ounce of remorse or concern.
Well I’m here to tell you that you are enough.
I’m slowly learning to love my body because I’ve realized it’s the only one I’m going to get. I have to live with this body my entire life and it’s way healthier to love myself, then have wasted energy always hating myself.
You aren’t perfect,
You are imperfectly PERFECT.
Yoga during sunset is the best. I love practicing in open spaces with lots of windows to let the natural light in. I know yoga can be pricey sometimes, but there are many ways to practice without spending anything at all. First, check out yoga tutorials on YouTube. There are plenty of awesome videos that cater to your specific level. Next, check your local community centers for free classes. You’d be surprised. Finally, get a membership at a yoga studio. This one does cost some money, but when you buy a package it is usually cheaper than purchasing per class. Goodnight everyone & namaste🌤

6 lettuce leaves + 1 cup of cooked black beans + 1/2 cup of yellow corn + mexican salsa.
Super easy and delicious meal.

I'm lucky that my family has been very accepting and supportive of my veganism 🥰 (perks of being an only child, I suppose 😁)
When we go out to eat, they ask me where I want to go as I know which places are vegan or have vegan options (thanks @happycow) 🌱
Montezuma's has a whole vegan menu to choose from! I got the vegan burrito which came with rice and the best salad I've ever had (who knew raw broccoli and cabbage could taste so good?!) 🤤
I took the leftovers home and had them for lunch 😃 it was a good decision
