Finally got @beyondmeat back in my life! We drove two hours from the valley of fire state park to @veggystreet and I would do it all over again if it meant I would eat this! Comes on a gluten free bun per request instead of the regular pretzel bun, with a side of yuca fries dusted with a vegan Parmesan over the top. Vegan Burger! I told you before that the @beyondmeat burger was available at all @thrillgrill restaurants in the Netherlands. But now it's even better; @lisagoesvegan created a 100% vegan burger for them.

Quería comer burger la otra vez y fui por las Riku q son las únicas veggie q venden en el super( pa mi no existen las masterveggie porq una wea q vende burgers de carne nica como)
Y para mi sorpresa me encuentro estas burgers!!!!! 😍😍😀 . Lo primero bkn q encontré es q venden por unidad ( tipico q tengo q comprar la caja de las riku y son caras, aveces uno quiere solo una) son todas de garbanzo con algo (hay pimientos asados y no recuerdo q más) y valen $990, hermoso! Y de sabor suuuper ñami!!!! . Lo mas bkn es q son chilenas asi q feliz de apoyarlos!! Ojalá sigan apareciendo mas marcas de burgers veganas en los super, es necesario!!!. Se llaman @tivoni_garden_food y venden más cosas vegetarianas y veganas.
Me hicieron el día! Vaya y busque la suya 😉.

Veggie burger 🍔 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀1️⃣ 1/2 can of chickpeas 2️⃣ 1/2 red onion 3️⃣ 1 clove of garlic 4️⃣ 1tsp of paprika 5️⃣ 1tsp of chili powder 6️⃣ Juice of 1/2 a lemon 7️⃣ dried coriander leaf 8️⃣ 1tsp of Tesco crunchy peanut butter 9️⃣ 1.5 scoops of oats 🔟 salt and pepper to taste ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I added all the ingredients into a large bowl and used a hand blender (you could use a food processor) I separated the mixture into two and made two burgers and coated them in sesame seeds (optional) Pop them in the oven at 180 for 30-40 minutes and flipping them halfway through ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The guac 🥑 :⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀1️⃣ 1 medium avocado (will make enough for 2 people) 2️⃣ 1/2 red onion 3️⃣ 2 cherry tomatoes chopped 4️⃣ 1 clove of garlic minced 5️⃣ Lemon or lime juice to taste 6️⃣ salt and pepper to taste ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Mash up the avocado and just add all the other ingredients ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ PS. When people ask me what item I think they simply must try, I always suggest this bad boy. The Nobl Burger is an all vegan patty made from oats, black beans, sweet potato, beets and seasonings. We dress it up with our vegan smoked tempeh aioli, truffle mustard, spinach, roasted tomatoes, house made pickles and a sliver of onions. All between our fluffy vegan brioche burger bun.
I like to eat mine with a glass of something red and full bodied. Like our St. Francis Cab.

🌱Mung bean sweet potato tikki/patties (gluten-free) with homemade spicy ketchup 🌱

RECIPE: Peel 3 medium sweet potatoes and cut into approximately 1/2-inch pieces. Boil and mash. In large bowl, mix mashed potato with 2 cups cooked mung beans, 1 small onion (finely diced), 1 serrano pepper (finely diced), 1 tbsp grated ginger, 1 tsp chili powder, 1 tsp ground cumin, 2 tsp garam masala, 2 tbsp neutral oil, handful chopped cilantro, 4 tbsp chickpea flour, salt to taste. Mix until well combined. Form into patties and either pan fry or bake on parchment-lined baking sheet at 400F until golden brown about 20-25 minutes (flipping half way). (I baked these.)
🌱Recipe Spicy ketchup: sauté 1 small onion (small dice) until translucent, about 7 minutes. Add 2 minced garlic cloves, 1/2 tsp smoked paprika, 1/4 tsp allspice, 1/4 ground cloves and sauté about another 30 seconds until fragrant. Mix in 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar, 1 tbsp sriracha, 2 tbsp maple syrup and 1 tbsp tomato paste. Sauté another few minutes. Add 1-15oz can tomatoes and simmer until thickened, about 20 minutes. Blend until smooth.
Okay for real though - beyond meat is the future if you have a hard time letting go of meat! I'm blown away (I haven't eaten meat for like 12 years so I might be misremembering things but honestly, I doubt it). @philsburger offers beyond meat burgers here in Sweden, if you're in Stockholm and want to give it a go! Ask for it vegan and I also got gluten free bread which was available. Yum ❤
What if I said you could have the same tasty burgers and junk food you’ve always enjoyed but without the cholesterol and class one carcinogenics that leads to the three biggest killers in the UK- heart disease, cancer and diabetes? Went to @veggiegrill with the fam yesterday. I wanted to try the new barbacoa torta but my inner burger lord decided to go with the delicious Luxe burger. This only means one thing though: I’ll have to go back.
Vegan burger with soy and root burdock patty, avocado & red wine teriyaki sauce 🍔 without a doubt it’s the best vegan or vegetarian burger I’ve ever eaten in my life, the teriyaki sauce was incredible 👌 At Mr Farmer, Shinjuku (Tokyo)
