in the past i’ve been guilty of following fad diet plans to binge eating. there was a phase where i survived the day with a piece of tuna or chicken, side of three broccoli pieces and a liter of black coffee. there had been a phase where i’d just eat my emotions. after overseeing my relationship with food, i thankfully discovered the concept of mindful eating. i discovered that eating a meal can be a form of meditation. in the zen traditions, there are five contemplations when it comes to eating:
1. to acknowledge the food as gift provided by the hardwork of numerous beings (farmers).
2. to eat with mindfulness and gratitude
3. eating with moderation
4. eating in a way that reduces suffering to other beings and encourages compassion
5. to nurture everyone around us.

Today I had only one lecture in the morning and I decided to go to bed after it for around 2hours, but I slept longer than I want.😕😅🙈 What ever... I will go through my to do list now:
-> I really need to study -my first exam is in 6days. 📚📝
-> need to clean my dishes 🍴
-> check my mails 💻📩
-> and some other stuff I have to do.
Later I also have a dance session.

Decided to keep it easy for breakfast this morning (Tuesday’s seem to always be the busiest day of the week for me), and went with a big bowl of just about everything. I threw together some @co_yo_usa yogurt + @effifoods granola + fresh berries and a banana + walnuts + hemp hearts + toasted coconut + almond butter. Messy, easy, and so. so. good. It was necessary after a killer yoga class this morning. Who wants to come over for breakfast next time?? For now, I’ll be over here jamming out to some good music, working, and enjoying Tuesday. Heute: frisches und rohes Gemüse, warme Hirse und hausgemachte Pommes Frites mit veganem Joghurtdip. Ich liebe es!

Need some lunch time inspiration? Try this spicy cauliflower & carrot soup with coconut milk, toasted almond flakes and cilantro🥕🌶from @anna.culina
Ingredients 4-6 servings:
1 cauliflower (750 g, leaves removed)
600 g carrots
1 medium sweet potato (260 g)
1 garlic clove
1 piece of ginger ( 30 g)
1 fresh red chilli
1 Tbsp coconut oil
1 can of coconut milk (400 ml)
750 ml water
½ bunch of cilantro
1 Tbsp indian curry powder
2 tsp turmeric
½ tsp cinnamon
2-3 tsp salt
50 g almond flakes
1. Divide cauliflower into florets and cut into quarters. Peel carrot and sweet potato and slice thinly / cut into cubes. Peel onion, garlic and ginger and dice finely. Remove the stem and the seeds of the red chilli and chop finely. Roughly chop the cilantro.
2. Heat up the coconut oil in a big saucepan. Add the onion, garlic, ginger and chilli and roast gently for 2 minutes. Add in the carrots, cauliflower florets and sweet potato cubes and roast for another 5 min.
3. Add the cilantro, the herbs and 2 tsp of salt to the saucepan.Cover with the water, bring to a boil, reduce heat and let simmer for 30 min.
4. In the meantime juice the orange and toast the almond flakes in a pan until golden brown.
5. After the cooking time remove the saucepan from the heat. Finely puree the ingredients using a hand mixer. Mix in the coconut milk and the orange juice and briefly bring to a boil again. Add salt and pepper to taste.
6. Transfer soup into bowls and garnish with the almond flakes and cilantro leaves. Enjoy!❤️ .

Vegan protein vanilla, almond & coconut chia pot with raspberry topping 🍧. It’s like eating desert for breakfast
Ingredients * 2 tbs chia seeds
* 2 tbs almond butter * 3 tbs coconut milk
* 2 tbs of pea protein
* 1 cup water * Vanilla
* Pinch of salt
* Sweetener of choice or if you are hardcore healthy non (I use erythritol for Keto diet)
* Berries for topping
Mix seeds, almond butter, liquids, sweetener, vanilla & pinch of salt. Either whisk after 10 min again and leave overnight in fridge or bring to boil in a pot then whisk a few times and leave for about 15 min. I like my chia warm for breakfast, it also goes really quickly.
Put chia mix in a bowls and top with berries. Enjoy.

sweet cinnamon maca spelt grits topped off with elderberry (as perfect as maca for working against acne), hempseed, persimmon and apple
1/2 cup of spelt grits cooked in 1-2 cups of unsweet soymilk. (mix both, bring to a quick boil, stir and let sit for about 15 mins) stir in 1 t maca and 1 t cinnamon, about 1 T of date syrup and top off with ur favs.
First meal in Sydney: honestly couldn’t be happier to dig into anything else 😍📷 Featuring the Snickers & Acai bowls @soulbowl_parra topped with a @rawpassiondesserts snickers donut and extra peanut butter 🤤 Happy to say that these were two of the BEST SMOOTHIE BOWLS I’ve had! ✨🙌🏼 We requested them to be served in coconuts but you can also also just bring your own bowl too! Sydney of off to a terrific start! 🤩
🍱 Woohoo war das aufregend 😅. Mein erster Live Kochkurs Sonntag Abend hat super viel Spaß gemacht (kleine Pannen inbegriffen). Ganz besonders toll war, dass tatsächlich viele von Euch dabei waren. Dass hat mich echt angespornt.💕 .
Es hat nämlich so ziemlich genau 1 Jahr gedauert bis ich mich tatsächlich VOR die Kamera getraut habe. Die Komfortzone verlassen, war eins meiner Learnings von 2018. Nicht so viel Nachdenken, wenn es ums Verwirklichen deiner Träume geht …..MACHEN!
Hier ist nun die Lunchbox, die wir am Sonntag Abend zusammen gekocht haben.
Sie ist in 20 Minuten ohne viel Aufwand fertig und kann sogar morgens noch schnell gemacht werden, wenn man abends keine Zeit hatte. So zwischen Zähne putzen und Kaffee kochen 😉. .

It actually took me one year until I dared to come in FRONT of the camera. To leave my comfort zone was definetly one of the big learnings I had in 2018. Don ´t overthink your dreams to much ….just DO it!
So this is the result lunchbox from Sunday. Ready in 20 minutes with no fuzz, You can even prepare it in the morning between bathroom and coffee machine 😉
FLAVORFUL CHAI PORRIDGE

Are you a porridge lover? To be honest, I can‘t imagine a morning without it! Having this bowl for breakfast gives me the necessary energy to start the day right!
It might sounds boring to you because instagram is full of porridge and smoothie bowls. But I think this is the most variable recipe I have ever created. Can be mixed and topped with all kind of fruits, nuts and seeds and even grated zucchinis and carrots love to take a bath in this warming mash!
This time, I just added chai tea to my basic porridge recipe and topped it with dark chocolate, dried raspberries, tigernut and apricot kernel butter. The flavors harmonize so well and it keeps you full for several hours!

Veganism is an act of nonviolent defiance. It is our statement that we reject the notion that animals are things and that we regard sentient nonhumans as moral persons with the fundamental moral right not to be treated as the property or resources of humans.
This poor downed dairy cow, how painful to be picked up in such a way. When she and others are no longer profitable to the industry after continual and forcible pregnancies / milking and even illness, she will be sent to slaughter, which is likely where she ended up shortly after this. Do not be fooled, animals are only ‘cared for’ for as long as they are making profits for farmers and the industries. The use and abuse of these beautiful souls is because people want their milk, cheese, chocolate and ice cream, but don’t stop to consider the unethical process behind it. Animals are not commodities.
Since foods can be made using plant based ingredients, instead of a bovines flesh and baby milk, we no longer use animals for need, but instead we use them for greed.
Every day we as consumers make a choice whether to oppose or support compassion or cruelty.
