É isso. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Big Apple Half Marathon in the books with @joseph_alicata 🤗 It was freezing, super hilly, and erm... freezing.
My excitement in the second picture is based purely on the fact that they were handing out free bagels. .

This pizza, goddamn! 🍕🤤 What's your go to pizza?
#RepostSave @parmajohnnny with @repostsaveapp ・・・ Homemade pizza Friday! Again, borrowing a pie idea from @screamerspizzeria (s/o to #brooklyn 👊). Start with a layer of minced garlic and olive oil, add @violife_foods_usa mozz, @gothamgreens vegan pesto, organic grape tomatoes, @miyokos_kitchen mozz, and top with fresh Violife parm shavings once out of the oven.
I have not had "ranch dip" in almost 4 years. I tried @wayfare_foods vegan ranch dip and OMGOODNESS!!!! I shamefully admit that I have eaten 1/2 of the container already 🤦♀️🤣 It's just THAT good! I highly recommend this dip!!

my favorite way to meal prep? making a large enough dinner the night before that i can reheat the leftovers the next day at work 😛😊🌱 leftover red pepper and sundried tomato alfredo and #homemade seitan + some added hemp seeds 🤤 so delicious and flavorful.
EDIT: are you looking for a simple way to reduce your plastic waste? bring your own utensils when you know you'll need them to eat your food! i always keep an extra set of utensils with me so that i don't need to waste any single-use plastic items! 😊 #savetheoceans#fuckplastic#minimalwaste#lesswaste#savetheplastic
Planta... one of our favorite places to be 😍 they have amazing vegan food like cauliflower tots, coconut ceviche, truffle burger and more. They get a lot of their ingredients from their rooftop garden!
Had some yummy food a cute Diner/Soda Shop. Tried a phosphate, and I was pleasantly surprised 🤗 Food pictured is their Lentil Meatloaf. VERY yummy and filling!!! They also have a vegan sloppy joe, and sandwich, if you ask for no cheese. They were very accommodating! 🤗✨💚🌱
This is legit me when I get home from work 😂
Just Monday to Friday of zombies cracking jokes that are more dead than the flesh they eat. I hope I get some form of compensation once they rehabilitate to veganism!
What’s your favourite/worst vegan joke?
Steel cut oats are not a quick breakfast for sure. They oats take a good 40 minutes to cook and they really need to be stirred pretty regularly so you’ll need to devote some time to this. That said, they are worth the effort and the leftovers reheat really well. Plus, even though it looks like a small amount, steel cut oats are super filling so you don’t need to eat a lot to be full and full of energy for the day.
* 2 cups non-dairy milk
* 1 cup water
* 0.5 cups steel cut oats
* 0.5 cups sugar
* fruit/nuts of choice (I chose dried apricots and walnuts)
* butter to taste (I used a full tablespoon in my serving, haha!) Directions
In a stock pan add the steel cut oats and toast over medium heat. Once toasted a bit, add in the 1 cup of water and stir until combined and the oats have soaked in nearly all of the liquid. Add in 1 cup of non-dairy milk and stir to combine. Once the milk has been mostly absorbed, add in the last cup of non-dairy milk and continue to stir until the liquid is again absorbed.
At this point you’ll want to test the oats to check their done-ness. If they are still not soft enough then add in another half cup of water at a time and allow to absorb until you get the softness that you prefer. Don’t despair, the wait will be worth it!
Once the oats are done to your liking add in the sugar and stir to combine, remove from the heat and set aside to allow the sugar to seep into the oats.
In a small bowl, spoon out about a half to 2/3 cup of the cooked oats and add on top the chopped the fruit and/or nuts along with a large dollop of butter. I know that it doesn’t seem like enough but as filling as this is I think you’ll find it enough.
The oats reheat well; I usually add in a bit more water or milk when reheating to make them a bit less thick as they tend to thicken even more once they’ve been in the fridge.
The best kinda trash you’ll ever meet 😉
You can still be a shitty person even if you’re vegan but at least you’ve got those basic morals that you’re committed to so I think that’s an amazing head start.
I’ve never met a shitty vegan personally (I’ve only met one vegan IRL so I’m a bit biased lol)
