I read an article the other day about how the sale of turkeys during the holiday season has plummeted drastically this year. This makes me SO happy! This is only my second vegan Thanksgiving and last year (my first) I ate more food than I ever have on Thanksgiving before. This Crispy Smashed Potatoes with Garlic Avocado Aioli from @ohsheglows were such a hit last year for vegans and non-vegans alike that we are doubling the recipe this year. I’m also excited for new vegan recipes we are adding this year and we’re doubling them all so everyone can try them!
I know the holidays can be stressful and even scary because a lot of the time attention is put on you for being the “health nut” or the “weird one who doesn’t eat anything” etc. but it can be also be a great time to share delicious vegan recipes with family and friends to show them how amazing this lifestyle can be.
I posted a recipe for Pumpkin Spiced Balls on my blog with some notes on eating vegan for the holidays. Make sure you check it out before tomorrow’s festivities! Go to EATFEELLIVE.com 🌱 or just click the link my bio! Happy Thanksgiving! 🍽

As most of you will know, over the last twelve months I have become extremely passionate about Arbonne’s 30 days to healthy living & BEYOND program. I did the challenge for the first time in 2016 and then again last year and saw dramatic results in those 30 days. However since November 2017 I have been consistently following the 80/20 rule.
It’s so funny how rapidly your body & mental clarity changes when you’re educated on what good nutrition looks like and when you are fuelling yourself with the RIGHT foods.
The picture on the left was taken September 2017 at my car presentation in Glasgow. I purposely wore this same green dress again at our Arbonne conference in September (one year later in 2018) to show how the compound effect comes into play when you work away at your goals every day. I am no where near my dream body, but dang I am closer than I was this time last year!
I still enjoy a vino, a pizza and some ice cream now and then, but I prefer and love sticking to Arbonne’s plan 80% of the year.
It’s not just my body that has changed but my skin is glowing, my energy levels are amazing, my clarity of mind and focus is 10 fold & when it’s time to sleep I knock right out!!! 💤
J O I N U S 🎉
The goal is set, the mission is ON! We have just opened our 10 day pre Christmas detox 🎄 group and will be helping hundreds of people get their body in a rocking stats before the festive season! DM me for more info ❤️
Aguardem!

repost via @instarepost20 from @vegan_lucy_york Tried the @frysfamily ‘steak’ and ale pie and the @tescofood ‘chicken’ and veg tonight (pictures is the Fry’s pie). The kids loved the Tesco pie, but myself and my husband found it a bit bland. We preferred the Fry’s, but I still maintain @clivespies are the best 😊💚🌱💚 #dinner#pie#vegetables#family#vegan

As vegans, my partner and I still go out and enjoy life as anyone else would.
The difference is we are living a more conscious life.
We are healthier, we don’t contribute to animal suffering and we are doing our part to help the environment to ensure a better future for our planet. -
Everyone can enjoy life to the full while living in a conscious way!
We don’t think we are better than anyone else, but we do want to inspire people make a positive change for the better, just as we have done for ourselves!

Lentil & Chickpea Salad Sandwich
I have been looking for different ways to incorporate more lentils in my diet because they are so nutritious and good for you! So I came across a recipe for this Vegan Chickpea Salad Sandwich on the ilovevegan.com blog. I modified it a little and left out the veggies because I was short on time. This mix has so flavor and I will definitely be making it again soon! My girls enjoyed it too! We piled it onto toasted bread and added some greens in there too! .
I rinsed a can of chickpea and lentils then mashed them. I threw in nutritional yeast, dill, salt, pepper, mayo and a squeeze of lemon! Mixed it up and that’s it! Serve it however you want! (My husband was using it like a dip for chips and said it was delicious.) So get creative with your food because you never know what you might discover! 😊 Do you have a Vegan version of a chicken salad sandwich? I’d love to hear about it!

🍁Gluten free, grain free, soy free, dairy free, egg free, plant based Pumpkin Pie with a Maple Pumpkin Pie Spiced “Icing”🍁 that’s a mouthful😅 but it’s what I’m making this Thanksgiving! And let me tell you—it’s drool worthy🤤 and doesn’t leave you feeling all gross and heavy after eating it like most pie🙌🏼 this is one you could definitely eat for breakfast😉 hope you guys enjoy, and have a happy, healthy Thanksgiving!
•1 cup water
•1/2 can or more of organic pumpkin purée (I did 1/2 can but I’d be interested to try it with a whole can)
•1.5 cups almond flour
•1 1/3 cups cassava flour
•1 tsp baking powder
•1/2-1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
•4 tbsp raw honey or 2 tbsp coconut sugar •1 tsp coconut oil
-Maple Pumpkin Pie Spice “Icing”-
•10-12 medjool dates •dash of pumpkin pie spice
•1 tsp maple syrup
•water to thin
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Add all of the pumpkin pie ingredients, except coconut oil, into the blender and blend until smooth. Take the coconut oil either in your hand or on a paper towel and generously grease the pie dish—this is very important in preventing it to stick. If you want to omit, you can try using parchment paper but since I didn’t go that route I’m not sure how the final product will turn out🤷🏽♀️. Pour the pie batter into the dish and spread it out evenly. Pop it into the oven for about 50 min-1 hour (I did 50 min) until the top is golden and the inside passes the toothpick test. Take out and let cool/firm up until you start icing and cutting.
While the pie is baking, add all the icing ingredients into the blender and blend until smooth. Taste and adjust as necessary. Spread evenly onto the top of the pie. That’s it!🍁🍂
It’s Hot Chocolate season! Forever ago I learnt that I couldn’t handle dairy and for years I went without the cold weather treat! But did you know that coconut milk hot chocolate is a THOUSAND TIMES BETTER! Coconut milk hot chocolate is full of good fats and using real cacao adds a powerful antioxidant. That’s really just the beginning of the benefits, but really isn’t the best part that you can have hot chocolate again?
