After 5 months living in a tiny home we have decieed to make some modifactions to Vandalf!
He will be that bit more homey and a bit more beautiful... if that's even possible.
It's only a few changes but we can't wait to show you!!!
We really needed to wash our linens after the mosquito nightmare. We smashed so many mosquitos during the night that we ended up with bloodstains and mosquito parts all over both ourselves and our bed (no kidding..). Luckily we found a great spot to relax and dry our stuff in a very mosquito free environment.
Just a few hundred meters east of Capo Falcone is Spiaggia Della Pelosa. A picturesque beach with calm water and a crowd like no other place (when you see it you sort of get why). This place however we almost had to ourselves except for a few other gentle campers. Among those a small French kid who kept yelling for the sun after it went down - only to yell again super excited when it rose up the next morning. Good company 😇
We followed the coast west and ended up at Capo Falcone. Just a few meters from our spot there was a big drop of sharp cliff side leading down to a roaring ocean. Quite a contrast from our last tranquil spot but one of the most beautiful of our trip so far.
No matter where we go or what we do, coming back to our rolling home always makes us feel excited. We still can’t believe we built a tiny house, let alone lived in it for over a year. We’re getting nostalgic as the countdown to the one way ferry ticks on, and we’ve been thinking a lot about the people that we’ve met and the good times that we’ve had so far on our Vanlife journey. The adventures only just beginning, and we’re super pleased to be able to take you all along for the ride 🚐
