Looks like someone wants to join in on the Christmas carols. // Please join two of our resident pianists, Anne-Marie Petrovic and Dave Olafsson, in the Burrard Room for a Christmas Caroling Party. Accompanied by special guest, John Harvey, on classical guitar, Dave and Anne-Marie will be playing piano throughout the evening and leading the Christmas caroling. 🙂

One of the images I shot from the hike the other day. There's not much I can say really, it speaks for itself. Absolutely unreal. I still can't quite believe I live here now. My peculiar looking van that seems to turn heads wherever I go, probably out of confusion if we're honest, has brought me here and gives me a place I can call home with views like this wherever I look.
We said goodbye to the beach today and have headed to a place called ‘A Coruña’ to see the Tower Of Hércules. It doesn’t matter where we are or what we’re doing, this December sun is making us feel very happy indeed! ☀️🚐
This is the view from my journaling nook in the van. 📖☕ I've made some brilliant discoveries about myself from this nook. I am writing my first book from this nook. I am designing and defining a life by my standards from this nook. I saw two ducks making baby ducks from this nook. I watch rowing teams do sprints and remember a very special and sacred chapter of my life from this nook. I'm falling in love all over again from this nook.
As @maker_of_waves and I get settled in, we are learning how to move around the space, and each other. We sold everything we owned (that we didn't want to bring with us) before we moved into the van, and that sounds dramatic because it is, but we've done this before. In fact, both of us have sold everything we own at least four times that we can recall. We moved out here with three skydiving rigs, a dog, and what we could fit in my Honda Civic. The difference is that this time, we don't have plans to buy all the same stuff again once we get to some destination. We are the destination. This is our home. Everything we need is right here, a short reach or a few steps away. 💚 Everything in the van has a place and purpose, including me. 💚
Here’s a recap of our latest road trip. There were several highlights: dry camping in the desert just outside Joshua Tree National Park; Boon-docking with our friend, LTVER Laurie Lee at Bass Pro Shops in Rancho Cucamonga, California; meeting up with Greg and Marsha Locke (our Alaska caravan friends) and driving caravan style together to the Roadrunners LTV Rally in Pismo Beach, California, where we got to see our LTV friends/family and catch up with some more of our Alaska Caravan friends; meeting up with our family in Phoenix; driving through snow and freezing rain in northern Arizona and New Mexico; getting hit by some kind of projectile that blew out the drivers side wing window at 70 mph in the pouring rain in the Texas Panhandle; celebrating MaryAnn’s birthday at a stake house in Amarillo; meetups with new friends of the LTV owners community in Oklahoma; catching up with old friends in Kansas; family reunion in Missouri; getting the wing window replaced and front end of our tiny house realignment done in Columbia, Missouri and replacing the front tires; visiting White Sands National Monument in New Mexico; and all the beautiful country that we got to see along the way! Our trip lasted 32 days, we drove 4,629 miles and through 7 states (no new ones). We now have 31,380 miles in 13 months of ownership of our Leisure Travel Van 2018 Unity FX.
Can’t wait for our next adventure! #ltv#ltvexplorers#explorewithunity#leisurevans#travel#traveling#gorving#rvlife#rvliving#rvlifestyle#vanlife#vanlifediaries#roadtrip#travelblogger#travelphotography#traveler#travelling#vanliving
