Weekend project completed! 🤙🏼 Finished the sound dampening and installing the Thinsulate to the upper and lower walls. We want to build the van as green as possible so we did not use the suggested 3m adhesive spray. We cut the Thinsulate to grab ahold of wall brackets in the cavities to keep it from falling. We will be able to see how well it holds on our road trip in November before installing the walls. 🚐💨#goinggreen

What a way to get back into the VAN LIFE way of life 🚐 We’ve just had a magical 5 days camped up at Rainbow Beach 🌈 Just steps away from the ocean and kilometres upon kilometres of sandy beach to stroll along, we were two happy campers ☺️ Between all our photography equipment,
we’ve been pretty snap happy and can’t wait to share what we’ve been up to with you 📷 For now, we’ve just dodged a HUGE storm and are free camping on the side of the highway, wishing we were back in this beautiful and peaceful spot 👏
The last two days we spend our time in Rome and slept on a parking lot just in front of the Zoo. It was the perfect place to visit Rome. It was really close to the centre, it was free, at night you hear the wolves cry and in the morning you will be awakened by the elephants. Loved it🐘🐺🐵
SO HAPPY to top out on the Chief after 14 pitches of trad!!! We linked up Calculus Crack + Memorial Crack + Squamish Butt Face for an amazing, amazing day of climbing that is instantly a highlight in our vanlife adventure. ❤️❤️❤️
We've been dreaming about climbing to the top of the Chief since we started our trip in May, right here in Squamish. But then we left town so quickly to blaze across the country. We've been back for ~3 weeks and slowly learning how to climb crack and slab, and today we finally did it!! Just in the nick of time too, as this is probably the last few nice days of the season.
It was immensely satisfying to feel how far we've come as climbers. We've gotten stronger both physically and mentally. There was no way we could climb 14 pitches fast enough to make the summit in May. Today we would have had time to spare, if not for the conga line up Calculus! We must have waited for 45 minutes at the top of P2. Guess everyone realized this was their last chance of the season to send the Chief. Hope they all had as good a day as we did!
To me road tripping is a synonym of freedom. It’s the way of traveling that leaves you a lot of room to change and adjust the itinerary. You can stop at any spot that looks interesting and that you haven’t planned ahead to visit. Traveling with a camper allows you even more flexibility, since the accommodation is no longer such a concern. I’m the type of person that loves planning - it makes me calmer 😁 But when preparing for the road trips, I draft only some general route and pick up a couple of must-see attractions. And the spots like the one in the photo, the unexpected ones, leave me always the most impressed with💖 .
Do you also like road tripping? Where did you travel like this last time? .
What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger, right? 🤙🏽
We drove endless roads through these black burned forests. We concoured the storm in Figueira da Foz which took down so many trees. To our suprise where these black beauties still intact after the storm.
Moe getting a new paint job!!!! To challenge our bodywork guy, we decided on 2 colours...
We've had loads of compliments on the colour choice and also the paint work workmanship (though we can't take credit for the latter!)
