When meeting new people questions like “Soo where are you from?” generally come up. When I give the answer, Plauen, people are always like “Oh yes, I’ve heard of it, PLAU am See!” (I talk fast and mumble so it’s more my fault than theirs.) But since I get this a lot, I wondered: What’s all the fuss about? So @carokaspereit and I decided to pack our camping attire and off we went. And it is actually really really beautiful. Here’s a first impression of the lakeside and, of course, more pictures will follow in the next few days! Buckle up!

✒＋📷 @raised_on_the_road: •LESS COMFORT, MORE LIFE •
We sold everything and bought this Land Rover to travel the world with our children and two golden retrievers.
We have been on the road for 4 months now.
The lack of comfort has been very hard on Clem and me during the first months ! We left our comfortable home and secure jobs in order to travel full time !
But today we wouldn’t do it any other way.
We love our Land Rover and it’s lack of comfort, we love spending every single day with our children, raising them on the road (even if they sometimes exhaust us ..) we love to discover with them the beauty of our world 🌎
We feel like we have made the best decision of our life.. I guess it is true « Life begins at the end of your comfort zone »
That there is a roof rack, an undone still needs to be taken down and finished roof rack, but nonetheless a ROOF RACK! With this addition I’m finally feeling like the build is actually moving along. So much behind the scenes, nitty gritty, seemingly small but extremely important things have to get done before “building” is even possible. But for now I’m imagining future mornings watching the sunrise from our roof top deck and dreaming of the day when Cascade is no longer orange.
