Richard Hillmann was last seen nearly a year ago leaving a Thanksgiving party at a friends home 11-22-2017 from the Merlin, Oregon area-a small town about 250 miles south of Portland. His family and friends miss him and are asking that his missing poster and photos be shared as much as possible. I heard his story on The Vanished podcast and it broke my heart. All shares help! You never know who might know something.
VANISHED: LEFT BEHIND - NEXT GENERATION [ 2016 ], directed by #larryamclean .
If only this was made into TV series instead of a film, I'd be more than happy to recommend it to anyone, but movie is a different story, 'cuz the whole #leftbehind concept has already failed to meet expectations in it's previous film adaptations.
The original books had spin-off book series, called #leftbehindthekids , & this film is a loose adaptation of 'em.
We have four teenagers, wandering around in a post-rapture world, trying to figure out just what in the hell has happened. The cast (I mean the kids) is nothing special of note. Bunch of green & inexperienced teens, with only #dylansprayberry standing out. Somehow his act is more believable then anyone else's in here. Maybe it has something to do with him already having done a few acting jobs here & there, most notably as young #superman in #manofsteel & supporting role in #teenwolf hit series.
With the plot not offering any interesting twists, all in all, there is nothing else to see here. The only reason I've decided to check it out is for it's ties with "Left Behind" universe.
I wasn't disappointed, 'cuz I wasn't expecting much from this movie. It only left me wondering, how come the series have never been made yet? This movie could, as well, be a stepping stone for such, or a pilot if you may call it that.
Anyways, it's worth something like 5/10. Don't bother watching it, unless you are familiar with the books, otherwise you'd just end up hating it, & the film doesn't deserve it.
New episode! On December 1, 2015, Katelin Michelle Akens flew across the country from her home in Arizona to visit her family in Virginia. She had been eagerly anticipating the arrival of her nephew, and wanted to see him as soon as he was born. Four days later, on December 5, 2015, 19-year-old Katelin was supposed to fly back home to Arizona, but she never boarded her flight. A few days after she disappeared, her luggage was found on the side of a Virginia road with her wallet, identification, cash, and plane ticket, but there was no sign of Katelin. On the afternoon of her disappearance, Katelin texted a couple people but they found the texts to be strange and didn't believe the messages came from Katelin. The last person to see Katelin was her former stepfather, James Branton. He says he last saw Katelin when he dropped her off at a mall several hours before her flight, but has refused to take a polygraph and law enforcement has struggled to break the encryption on his phone.
Nearly three years have passed since Katelin’s disappearance, and her family is still searching for answers.
If you have any information about Katelin Akens, please call the Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office at 540-507-7102 or the FBI’s ViCAP division at 1-800-634-4097. #truecrimepodcast#missingpersons#truecrime#vanished#missingpeople#missingteen#missingteens#missinginvirginia#truecrimepodcast#podcast#crime#crimepodcast#disappeared#virginia#findkatelin#findkatelinakens#katelinakens
I was looking for a certain photo of my father and then I found this pile of negative photos. My father was a photographer. He used to vanish to his mysterious photo shooting session tours to Lapland and to Denmark. Sometimes he was gone for months. Here are some shots from those times. Very interesting shots about local people. like this man living under a boat. Unfortunately most of the original negatives are lost and these pics aren't so sharp since they are taken from very small 200x400 mm black&white pics. Father✌💟 #photography#photoart#fathersday#vanished#negatives#discovery#kunst#konst#blackandwhite
Amazing waves down on the beach this morning! I love it when it’s like this - full of negative ions .... which of course create positive vibes. SO TRUE !! The sea has become an integral part of my life now , I can’t imaging ever not living near it ! So it was an energising and quick diversion with @beckyblairartist before we went to visit @habitatuk in Brighton which has opened today !
