Batumi, the resort-city of Georgia.
There are 2 types of people.
The ones who hate Batumi and the ones who love it.
People who hate Batumi are usually backpackers, as this is the typical beach city that promotes trashy tourism.
Drunk people, casinos, beach bars playing the worst music ever and everything is very expensive.
By the description, this could be any place in Thailand or even some European cities but seriously, Batumi is far worse, as it doesn't have the minimum taste.
However, we like to focus on the positive part of traveling and, since wr like to visit weird stuff, we actually enjoyed Batumi, for 1 or 2 days, that's it.
This luxury tower, which will soon become a hotel, has a ferry wheel attached to it. Have you ever seen something like that?
But what we like is that Batumi has a very interesting old city, composed of narrow alleys which perfectly merge with all the bizarre stuff that Batumi has to offer.
BOOKING THE SALT FLATS TOURS | SAN PEDRO
Salt flats is an absolute must do and for us, is a highlight so far. It’s a 3 day off roading experience that takes you from Chile to Bolivia. During the 3 days you see flamingos, many lagoons, hot springs, vast desert and the biggest salt flats in the world.
Now this may seem straight forward but you have a lot of options and prices to consider which untimely effects the quality of your trip.
THE GUIDE 🚶🏾♂️
If you are coming down from Bolivia to Chile you have the chance to met the guy you are going to spend the next 3 days with. Which is a huge bonus, If you opted for a specific language tour. You you can see if he can say more than “hello” and “Alan sheerer” in your language.
When in San Pedro, Chile, you have to trust what the tour operator tells you as you don’t meet the guide till you are over the border. Always try and speak to a tour operator in a language you fully understand because there’s some important details like this that you don’t want to be miscommunicated. Our guide was a great guy but he spoke very little English even after we had paid more for him. Apparently this is very common from the Chile side.
THE COST 💰
This depends on a hell of a lot. How many days you do, group discounts, which country you starting in, the company you go with etc... but to give you a rough idea, the standard 3 day route costs between 100,000 CLP ($146 US) - 180,000 CLP ($268 US) from San Pedro.
We paid 120,000 (179 US) each. This included the 3 days tour, accommodation, food and a English speaking guide.
What doesn’t it include? Water. You have to pack your own. One of them massive 6L bottles will do and a little bottle to transfer it in to for the car. Unless you want to try and drink out of a 6L bottle whilst off roading 😂👀 YOUR GROUP 🚐
Each car fits between 4-6 people in it. Most cars we seen had 6 people. The group make your experience. Try and figure out a good one before you go. I heard of a English guy getting stuck with 5 Chinese who spoke no English. Heartbreaking!
You and your 5 companions are going to be closer than mother and child for the next 3 days so if you are a solo traveller I would mention

Right now, almost every temple in Kyoto has night time illumination until mid December. Definitely the best time to view the temples in a wondrous sight, nonetheless, these temples are a sight to view in the day time, too.
One of Hakone's top sightseeing spots is Chokoku-no-mori, which, in English, is called the 'Hakone Open Air Museum'. If you can, spend most of the day checking out both the indoor and outdoor exhibits, enjoy a tasty lunch, and soak your feet in their onsen foot bath. @excursions_japan #japan#hakone#art#openairmuseum
thankful for: ✨the four cups of coffee that I’ve already had this morning (don’t wanna talk about it) ✨the 77 degree weather that will be visiting this afternoon (missed you, bb) ✨the best best friends ✨what about you?
We had a very quiet visit to Valencia. Valencia has a very rich history as one of the oldest cities in Spain, originally settled by the Romans. We wandered the endless twisting alleyways through the historic center. It was a feast for my eyes. I let my mind take a break and just enjoy the surroundings. Try to visualize what I need to capture for my video and just do exactly what comes to my mind! 📽🇪🇸
Torres Del Paine, Chile.
3 days of incredible views, nature at its best, and a bunch of good people out there enjoying the world. .
The top three experiences: • the view from Británico Mirador • watching a condor chase down a smaller bird above Grey Glacier • enjoying the hike with good people. .
The trek itself was not challenging and the facilities are first class. It has definitely been designed for anyone to go and enjoy - if you have the money. It’s not a cheap experience by any means. I wasn’t sure if I would do the hike since I’m aware there’s just as good hikes nearby but I decided I need to give it a try. Was well worth it.
Uma experiência inesquecível! Há muito tempo desde falei em português mas encontrei um amigo novo. Fui ótimo para encontrar ele e se eu tenho a oportunidade espero que posso visitar ele no Santiago se eu decido voltar lá. Obrigado meu!
Today's post is brought to you by the color #orange .⠀
Someone recently asked which of Saigon's #markets are most "authentic", and my answer is: all of them! ⠀
Even #BenThanh , which gets the most tourist traffic, is where many regular Vietnamese shop, especially for #fresh#produce and meat. ⠀
While most houses have a refrigerator these days, many women, especially the ones from the countryside and the older women, still prefer to walk to the neighborhood #wetmarket to pick up just enough to use for the day, ensuring everything is fresh.⠀
Spotted at the Cho Ba Hoa market in Tan Binh, Saigon.
✔Air Terjun Diwu Mbai, Sumbawa
