"How we spend our days is of course how we spend our lives"- Word to the Wise
🏵I rather spend my days at the beach and my life traveling the world🏵

While kayaking through the Grand Canal we found the art installation, called “Support,” created by artist Lorenzo Quinn. They are a pair of 5,000-pound white hands that address the issue of climate change in Venice and how mankind is hurting this city, but also how we have the power to change things.
You never know when you need some shape inspiration for personal design projects --- Many of these were frantically captured and somewhat scribbled into a sketchbook while on a moving train in the Swiss Alps
Kayaking down the narrow (and more frightening not so narrow) canals of Venice was a major highlight of our trip. Much more fun than a gondola and you can reach places otherwise more difficult to find. ---
We called on our last day in the city and rushed from the furthest possible location to make it in time for a last minute tour. Thinking there was a whole tour group waiting on us, we sprinted through the narrow labyrinth-like streets. Kelly running point and Justin shouting GPS directions from behind. We make it across the Rialto only to find that it will be just us and our guide Erico on a 'private' tour. HIGHLY recommend you check it out when you visit. @venicebywater
Don't be afraid to wander and change your plans. We would have never ended up here for lunch and Justin wouldn't have eaten a fish face first because he thought it was a tiny fillet...(but Kelly noticed and was completely appalled)
We thought it was Murano that had these crazy colorful buildings (they have awesome blown glass). Turns out it was Burano, which meant an extra 45 minute boat ride to see the bright spectrum of houses.
Always finding inspiration, even if it's just the ironwork balconies we passed in Italy ---
Kelly ended up interpreting some of the designs onto her pottery by hand painting repercussions shapes from the ironwork
