Long Post !!
This was bit adventurous to say the least, an unknown territory, wild animals, cold dry winter ❄️.. well @mohit_mu had decided we gonna see golden Sunrise from Chandrashila Peak and I was not aware of that I thought he was just kidding as we reached Chopta late at night and slept inside a tent ⛺️ under stars and it was -5 degrees outside. I still slept so well (my superpower) and I guess he didn’t. He woke me up at 3:00 am in the morning and I tried convincing him not a great idea but I suppose it was destiny. We started by 3:30 🕞 am and it was pitch dark and we had prepared well. Soon after walking 300-400 metres we felt out of breath, indications that we are ascending some height plus the cold and layers of clothes but after an hour we acclimatised and reached Tungnath (3680 metres) then we spend some time contemplating about life and felt spiritual although the doors of temple were closed as winters. Then we started towards Chandrashilla peak(4100 metres) and we lost our way as it was dark and soon I realised we were going nowhere and to add to situation we heard lots of noises from the nearby bushes that was it we were scared 😟 but we thought let’s just neglect whatever it was and we return to the right track and soon I could see the top and we started running and we reached by before 6 am and spent some time waiting for sun to rise. This is the GOLDEN HOUR before sunrise 🌅.
Life lessons : However long the night, the DAWN will break.
