You are enough. Right now, in your imperfections, flaws and all, you are enough. ❤️ 🌸I teach a fitness class a couple times a week to missionaries. And on yoga day I often pray before I teach about what to say during Savasana or the meditation portion. And almost always I feel impressed to tell the girls, “You are enough. Right now, in your imperfection, you are enough. You are worthy of love. You are loved by God. And you are enough for our Savior who loves us all more than we know.” I think I get this impression often not for them, but for me. We all have those thoughts you know, those thoughts of, “You’re failing. You’re not a good mom. You lost your temper. No one likes you...” and so on. And this last week I was totally struggling.
And today I sat and talked with other women about our thoughts of our Savior and how he has impacted our lives. And this phrase kept running through my mind. So I came home and worked on my painting. It’s definitely a work in progress. But hey, I guess the point is we’re all a work in progress, right?
This is my relationship with Christ. I know that He loves me and you. I know that we’re enough for Him, even today, in all our mistakes. We are enough. And this gets me through all those times I do make mistakes. We are enough. #cjanedraw#sundaythink
In this day and age, reviews are an important part of business. Always striving to do my best. It's easy to do great work with pride when you love what you do. Special thanks to @suchcuteranger for sticking with me and being the best right hand man a guy could ask for.
Work in progress featuring my recent obsession - aspen trees! It's another heavy palette knife piece. I'm experimenting with the color wheel & underpainting in this one & that's clearly resulted in super bright colors!
I had a great time transforming every inch of this home. It was previously owned by a chain smoker that lived in the home for decades. Obviously this provided some extra challenges. First a lot of cleaning, then I needed to seal the walls with a quality stain killing primer. Then it was two coats of paint and even more TLC. After it was all said and done you would have no idea the walls, ceilings and cabinets were all stained with layers of nicotine.
Original wall hanging I made while in Colorado🖤
It's so pretty I may have to make one for myself soon 🌙✨Feel like you want one too? DM all orders | this piece goes for $45
