Card of the Day: 9 of Swords
When you see this card, this is just like the 8 of swords, worrying about things that are likely unnecessary. However, this one takes it a bit further and means that you find yourself so disturbed or stressed out that you’re creating bad dreams or delusions to go right along with the original concern. This is self fulfilling prophecies. If you do not let go, you will start to literally manifest problems that may not have been there before. This can also cause delays, stop, or other situations that you’d like to avoid. So if you find yourself going off the deep end with worry, it’s time to realize that this is NOT going to help you. You are self sabotaging and are in need of finding balance in yourself again before the problems actually do manifest.
As with the previous card, there are certain things and people you cannot control and so worrying about things that are out of your hands or fretting over what could or could not happen can and will drive you nuts or put your in a state of depression. This can also cause unnecessary nightmares. Is this really what you want? This card tells you to wake up from this delusional state and realize that you can only do what you can do which is your best. Get back to a more positive state of mind before things start to spiral out of control due to you worrying about something that didn’t need worrying about. Negative thoughts or emotions in any sense can ricochet and cause more trouble than it’s worth. Stop it!
Astrologically speaking, this card is associated with Gemini and so the timing could mean Early to mid June. However, with the number being 9, it also can be the month of September, 9 days, 9 weeks, or 9 months. Since this is the card of the day, it’s likely to be more short term. The longer stretches are more for layouts where someone is asking “when”. As far as a “yes” or “no” type of question you may have been mulling over, this is definitely a loud resounding “NO”.
Card of the Days: 8 of Swords
This card always looks unpleasant as you can see. A person bound and surrounded by swords that they cannot see. This more or less represents someone fearing what they cannot see or control. It’s never comfortable to accept that there are some things that are out of your realm of control. This card can either indicate that you’re being paranoid about things that you cannot see yet or have not happened yet. This can be unhealthy energy that is utterly useless. It can also mean that there are problems going on that you cannot control and are forced to simply have patience and accept that you can only do what you can do. This is a temporary situation though uncomfortable.
If you find yourself worrying, it’s time to reverse this line of thinking so it doesn’t eat you alive. Try to catch yourself when you’re thinking negatively or worrying and then reverse it by immediately thinking about something incredibly positive, loving, and inspiring. The more you do this, the more you’ll be able to get through this time of useless worry. That IS what you can control and so this would be what you can use to carry you thought until this passes. Now in terms of a “yes” or “no” if you had a question in mind or have been considering something, this is 100% a “NO!”. Astrologically speaking, this card is associated with Gemini which means that the timing could be mid to late May. However since the number is 8, it can also mean August, 8 days, 8 weeks, or even 8 months. Keep in mind that it depends on where it is in your spread. For the card of the day it will likely be in the present or one of the lesser amounts of time that this situation takes place. Try to stay positive and upbeat instead of giving in to self defeat. It’s not an easy thing to accept that you cannot control everything but you’ll be better off when you realize that what you CAN control is how you react and how you go about passing through this time of stress.
If only a reminder to myself; things I can control vs things I can’t control...A note to others; don’t worry about what you can’t control... You’ll NEVER PLEASE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!! Some people are so bitter that they’ll find negativity in you that doesn’t exist in you but in THEM! Let those people go! Focus on you which you CAN control...Let a hater hate on... That doesn’t mean turn into a darn demon but that’s something you can control...Ugh, whatever...be happy, folks! #YouCantPleaseThemAll#CanControl#CantControl#SelfLove#UselessWorry#UselessStress
So here is how my first day starting Ocrevus went. I will be brutally honest, I had tears streaming down my face just leaving my house today. BUT I was given a beautiful sunrise to calm my nerves. (No filter) Got to the infusion center & met the dr who was named David like my husband & we learned about a Dr's Seuss book about too many Dave's LOL. I head to the infusion area & told to ask for a private room I have been told I would be in since May, only to find out NOPE! They only have 1 private room for this large place. Kick in anxiety full force, after no sleep, and now being scared with strangers in an open room. To top that....the first nurse stuck me twice, no luck. Warm pack & blood pressure cuff, & a 2nd nurse & FINALLY success. Solumedrol, & Benadryl get on board along with Tylenol. AND THEN...Ocrevus is started. Slowly but surely it is started. I must admit I took a very deep breath when she said it had started. 30 mins later vitals taken & it is upped. They do this every 30 minutes. Only mild side effects were an itchy throat for about an hr, & a dull headache. I laughed when they gave me 400mg of Motrin! I've been on 800mg for years. So during the infusion, up pops Nurse McGermy. You can see what happened in the comments on pic. My husband was right on top of it & needless to say the mask stayed on but not before she had coughed into her hands & used the water dispenser open to everyone on a floor😬 So meds finish & they watch me for an hr & I am on my way home!! So last nights deep worry and anxiety was all for nothing! It went pretty textbook! We will see what tomorrow brings but here's to a new beginning! So for anyone thinking of this or getting ready to start O, save yourself the worry & go in taking it moment by moment & with confidence these nurses & Dr's know exactly what they are doing & how to treat what may come up. Happy I can say, ROUND 1 is in the history books! Stay strong Warriors!!
