23-23. So I decided to take matters into my own hands.
1st play was an over pass from my teammates beast swing so I knocked that down.
2nd was a stuff block straight down to end the game!! I get fired up when playing but it makes the game that much better, ESPECIALLY to a team who talks trash and underestimates your team. You can’t be quiet playing Volleyball especially when you and your team make a great play.
Even if you haven’t played with people before the only way to break that communication barrier is too be loud and energetic!! I promise if you show an individual your excitement for a great play they made, the next time you dig a ball, stuff block, hit, get a kill, they will reciprocate. I love this game!!!
Our middle blockers are already confirmed in their clubs for next season. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Maxwell Holt will continue in the Modena Volley for another season, the club brought the Italian opposite Zaytsev and our setter Christenson.
Our captain David Smith will continue in PlusLiga but his club for next season will be Asseco Resovia Rzeszów, that will also have out setter Kawika Shoji. ⠀⠀⠀⠀
Daniel McDonnell will move to France to play his next professional season for Tourcoing VB team Lille Metropole. In the last season McDonnell played the PlusLiga for the club Trefl Gdańsk and was in 3rd place in the Polish Championship.
Samo cu reci : "He need some milk" ... Oni ce znati zasto :) #suuuuuu#mambamentality#usavolleyball
“Alertness: be observing constantly. Stay open minded. Be eager to learn and improve.
We must be alert. We can do that by observing what is going on around us. Except for what we have garnered through personal experience, none of us knows anything that we did not learn from somebody else. Whatever the lesson, we saw somebody do it, we read about it or we heard about it.
Abraham Lincoln is my favorite American hero. President Lincoln could always say so much with just a few words. Lincoln had never met a person from whom he did not learn something, although most of the time it was something not to do. There is a lot of truth in that, but the point is that Lincoln was always observing, alert to what was going on around him, and he was constantly learning.
When we aren’t alert we miss opportunities to improve ourselves. If we remain attentive, not only we can improve ourselves, but we can also learn not to repeat the errors of others. We should always watch for circumstances or situations that can help or harm us and be eager to learn from our encounters.
Each of us has a huge capacity to learn and to achieve. Being ever alert makes the task of becoming all we are capable of becoming so much easier. I suppose it is the measure of inquisitiveness in areas of interest that make some people more alert than others.
So many people have tunnel vision. They narrow their awareness. I wanted my players to always be searching, specifically for truth. I wanted them to know what they believed and be able to defend it. Truth will always stand the test of scrutiny.
I am not a relativist. I don’t think we are supposed to find our own truth. That’s playing God. I believe in absolute truth and absolute sin. I believe that an inquisitive person is more apt to discover truth than someone with a closed mind.” John Wooden
The majority of our Tsteeet girls competing today found themselves in the same pool! Even though we would love to see them on opposite sides of the bracket, some high level volleyball is being displayed on court 5! #TstreetEliteBeachVB
Just happened to meet Dustin Watten and buy some of his jerseys. No big deal. Ugh... SIKE. IT WAS. I literally couldn’t ask him all of my questions I had cause I was too nervous. Anyways thanks Dustin for the jerseys🙏🏻 #usavolleyball

2- Pokie from the ten that touched off out of bounds
My team was down 6 until I got to the service line. The lefty jump top with a tail is deadly!! Love playing with these guys!! Couldn’t jump that high this week with my serves because of the double sessions I’ve been having with my team but still got the job done!!
