exam season is in full swing and i am stressy 2 the max!!!1!1!!! so naturally i did no study and spent my arvo in the kitchen baking :—) everyone and their dog it seems has been posting raw pb+j slices so me and my dog jumped on the band wagon and made it also thanx to @vitaminbreee ‘s recipe!!! 🍓🥜 (i don’t have a dog actually) all of my family think the pbj combo is weird so the roasting of my baking continues but that’s fine by me cause means I can demo this whole thing whilst not studying!!! love that for me

It’s been a year since the establishment of this food account, which was incentivised by my birthday (and also the photos I took during our meals: here’s some dessert from @chocolateboutiquecafe which everything was 10/10). My passion for photography and food was able to be showcased on here and it has been one helluva juicy journey! It has helped me connect with likeminded people across Auckland and other countries (not to mention the perks here and there 🙈); and will only expand as I make me way through Auckland, and eventually around the world! Swipe for some of my photos that are featured on various restaurants on Zomato!
I'm not yet sure how I feel about @krispykremenz, but I sure do love anything with enough hype to get me out to Manakau. The original glaze gets a 10 from me, and the dulce de leche is nearing a 9, but everything else has sacrificed it's flavour content for sugar content. They're not worth consuming at the expense of your teeth turning into jelly. Get yourself an original 12 pack and call it a day.
#protip if any of the donuts make it home chuck one in the microwave for 20 seconds for a spiritual experience
Not Hong Kong! Found these cute buns in my own backyard @panda.town.city 🐼
Also got to take my new @wellymerck watch out for a spin. Have wanted a white watch for awhile now but am so particular was waiting for the right one to come along...nice quality, simple style, no bling, not too big but not too small. Then @wellymerck reached out to me and I saw the perfect white watch. Once I read their beautiful story I knew I had to work with this company.

For all those hipsters who love their farmers markets but are stuck working or studying in the CBD, @scarecrowstore can help you pretend you’re in Matakana for the hour instead of the urban delight that is Auckland. Foodwise, I’d recommend hitting up the cabinet options, they are really bloody good and a cheap option for lunch. The salads are delicious and fresh- we got the broccoli, almond and quinoa salad with a tangy dressing, which was delightfully moreish and light (sorry, we devoured it before snapping a photo- how un-millennial of us). As for the menu options, we tried out the shakshuka (eggs poached in spiced tomatoes) with pide, which yeah wasn’t bad but was a bit lacking in flavour, I don’t mean to toot my own horn 😎 but I’ve made a better one myself at home. Our friend ordered the special (a brioche French toast type thing), which she described as being surprisingly fresh and light, i.e. ‘she didn’t walk away feeling like a balloon like normal.’ These wannabe hipsters are giving @scarecrowstore an overall 7.5/10 ✌🏼
Idk why I've neglected the foodcourt under my house even tho it's so close to me and the food there is better than the majority around CBD even tho it's so hidden, it's almost right next to nandos on qstreet so it's definitely hard to miss- there's a place called Xian (not xianfoodbar) that makes these really fkin good dumplings in a sweet chilli oil sauce and it's ran by a cute couple who remembers your order when you come back so pls go and give them your money bcos it'll definitely be more worthwhile than your $50 brunch, secondpic is that traditional xian flatbread thing that's sold everywhere but this place makes it best so 10/10/10💛
