This is by far, one of the coolest unity ceremony's I have ever seen. They blended their favorite whiskey's in a barrel! 😍🥃 #fitzropedthepope#unityceremony#beunique ⠀

Sorry I’ve been slow to post lately! It has been a busy summer and I’m not the best at keeping up with social media 😬 We’ve been working on tons of fun and special projects so I’ll try to start posting more pictures of them! For now here’s a throw back to a couple of weeks ago when Neal took THREE different pictures of me with products at different points throughout the day and didn’t tell me my hair looked crazy in any of them!! 😂🙈 But... I love the signs and it makes me laugh so sharing anyways 💁🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ This was the largest heaven sign (second pic) I’ve made yet and I loved it! And the state established signs are so much fun! Thanks for all of the support and for keeping us busy, we are so thankful for our customers!!! ❤️ #sillygoosecrafts#lifewithbrookeandneal#meetthemaker#thisisus#messyhairdontcare
Every time I make wedding signs, I always request that the bride send me pictures from their wedding. It doesn’t happen often, but when it does, I get so excited! A bride sent this to me a few weeks ago and I’m totally in love ❤️ It’s hard to describe the feeling of seeing your creations being used to celebrate such a special moment, but in short..it’s freaking awesome! 😍
In honor of me missing this little guy a whole lot last week we’re going to have a Maxwell Moments Monday! Today I’ll be showing you all how Maxwell helps in the shop 😂 First up, he does quality control on all of our signs! #maxwellmoments#snorkie#sillygoosecrafts
What are y'all's favorite unity ceremonies?! Are they more trendy and different or classic and timeless?
My husband and I chose to do the planted tree ceremony - we each took soil from our respective childhood homes and poured them together into a vase with a baby tree. We then planted the tree in the backyard of our first home together. The ceremony to us symbolized our two separate lives coming together to grow something new in life and in love, and doing this by becoming ONE.
Tell us what you did or would do for your unity ceremony!

The Unity Sand Ceremony is an alternative to the traditional Wedding Unity Candle Ceremony. 💫💎 This ceremony is perfect for an outdoor or beach wedding where a Unity Candle Ceremony may not work because of the breeze and wind. Beverly and Bernard were married in the courtyard at @deercreekgolfclub in Deerfield Beach, FL. Their ceremony was beautiful. #unityceremony#sandceremony#weddingtips#weddingvows#bride#groom
Ritual symbolism (like sand ceremonies and lighting candles) isn’t for everyone! Luckily there are many other contemporary options! Here’s a fabulous alternative and one of my favs - that literally sees the bride and groom ‘tying the knot’. Two overhand knots, linked together, and if done right, #unbreakable . Now there’s some symbolism! ♥️.

Yesterday was our wedding anniversary, so we got to crack open the box from our unity ceremony.
We asked our parents to write us letters. We asked them to include advice, words of encouragement and love. These were to be opened on our five and ten year anniversaries. We also wrote letters to each other that were to be opened on our first anniversary.
During the ceremony, we placed our letters to each other in the box with a bottle of wine, and our parents came up and placed their letters inside as well. Cody and I each took a nail and hammered the box shut.
Because we were way too curious what our parents wrote to us, we read each letter yesterday. I was moved to tears. Our parents had such good advice for us and such kind things to say about Cody and I and our love for one another. If you are engaged and wanting to do something unique or not quite so “done” for the unity part of your ceremony, I highly recommend doing this. These letters will forever be some of my most prized possessions.
Today, on our seven year dating anniversary, I’m reading them again. Goodness, do I feel so loved and incredibly blessed. ♥️
