I’m a little bit out of my routine this morning but I held on tight to my meditation, devotionals and prayer because I NEED to start my day that way or I fall apart with one thought. It’s just where I’m at right now.
Do you struggle with negative self talk or anxiety? Meditation and training my mind has really helped in a very short amount of time.
I’ve found a morning routine that really helps. And since my life can change daily at any second, I have to hold on tight to what works. The only part I had to skip this morning was my workout. I WILL make it happen when I get back home. ••
For now...I’m out the door with my superfoods and coffee! Cardio...I’m coming back for you!

PARENTING 💖👭👦🏼 The hardest job you’ll ever love! For any new mums out there who are struggling... I feel you. This is a tough gig. Often done on little to no sleep. With no day off to sleep in. We need to take extra good care of ourselves because we have such a huge job to do.
It’s SO important to give yourself permission to rest and recharge. To find moments of joy and happiness just for you every day.
I started my blog six years ago when I was finding motherhood really tough. My expectation of myself and my baby was totally different to the reality. I felt lonely, isolated, a bit lost and like I wasn’t doing a very good job. Fast forward seven years and I’ve learned SO much about making life with kids a little easier and much more fun... but I still have so much to learn!
And I still have days and weeks where I wonder if I can do this.... especially with a hubby who works three jobs and is away every weekend! 🙈😝 There are loads of posts on my blog about parenting and what I’ve learned to do to make life easier - link is in my profile 😘
How is parenting for you right now?
What are your biggest challenges?

Good morning! How is everyone doing? We've been a little quiet on here because we were in California for a family's wedding! It was Thea's first time flying so we were a bit nervous. She did great though and slept through most of the flight. We had so much fun but we're exhausted and glad to be back home! 📷 Photo by Johnny Chhim (my husband)

I was scrolling through my photos in search for a photo to share for today
-- I have seriously been lacking in taking photos and keeping up with my IG --
&& Then this little gem caught my eye. 😍
I don't remember taking this -- or even if it were I that took it.
But boy oh boy looooook at that sweet little boy!! ❤️😍❤️

OK. Time to catch up with my #ourmagicalmirror series.
Kaylee is now a pro in swings. But for a handful of months she was scared of sitting on it (even on a baby swing). Sometimes I feel myself control too much but this time I just let her explore and she finally understood that she won't fall from the baby swing, and also managed to try the big swing too. Oh yes, she fell several times, but she feels good about herself now.
Watching them getting braver and braver everyday is the best thing ever. 😉
Loving this healthy easy summer recipe for Blueberry NiceCream - blueberries, almond milk, a banana, coconut butter and vanilla powder. Enjoy! Thank you to @icecream.parlour for sharing this yumminess 😊
After an eventful mango eating, followed by swimming this little squish was well overdue her nap. Which is always great because she will sleep for 2 hours 👌 just how cute is she with her bunny though 😍😍😍
Not just for babies...
Our nine year old came into our room last night upset because she had a bad dream. I hugged her tight and told her it was ok, grabbed the Gentle Baby off of the oil shelf, and walked her back to her room. First I held it up to her nose and had her take a big breath, then I put a drop on her pillow, and a drop on her wrist. She calmed right down & drifted off back to sleep almost instantly. 😴😴
Another win for the oils...I seriously don't know what we would do without them!
My husband and I have this problem where we often buy puzzles for the kids that are too hard for them to do. And we have an undying affection for classic-style wooden puzzles with no cheats. This Hape @ilovehape layered wood puzzle is a great example, though, of why we don’t regret buying difficult puzzles. We have done this a number of times, all together, and using the picture as a guide. After enough repetition my near-5-year old son can do this entirely on his own and my 3 year old still needs help but she has a lot of it memorized without the use of a picture guide. And, you know, it’s not a terrible thing to have some puzzles that require a family effort! Anyway — I put up a link to this puzzle in my profile today because it’s absurdly gorgeous and perfect for Pond Week with #exploringnaturewithchildren ... The open book is “Marshes and Swamps” by Gail Gibbons and the Wetlands poster is a part of the July pack from @ibelieveinmontessori ♥️♥️
Selina making friends💕I can’t believe she’s 11 months.. next month we will be celebrating her 1st Birthday! People warned me it goes by fast but I didn’t realize how right they really were. I’m taking in every precious moment I can get with her, especially since this may be our last summer together as a family of three!
the happiest and chillest little guy!
I said to Brandon yesterday, "do other people have babies like this?! This is why people have 6+ kids!" To be clear we have no intention of having six kids 😂
What are your littles like? Second baby chill? First baby? Do your kids have similar personalities?
Ours are like 🌪 and then 🌞
Stop looking back sister - you aren’t going that way. 🙅🏻♀️👊🏼 Have you ever noticed that we’re always looking back on what was, or what could have been? Did I make the right decision? What am I doing with my life? Why did I take this road? Or our eyes start to wander...doubt creeps in and we look around at others...what they’re doing, what they believe, do we measure up? Why am I not doing more? What if we just found peace where we were at in OUR journey, and worked to presently exist where we are now. Easier said than done my friends, but it is something I am working on every single day. It’s okay to not be content with where you are at, but remember there are also others watching you and wishing they were as far along as you might not feel. I truly believe that as long as you keep moving those two feet underneath you, you will find the answers and know the next turn to take. So remember what’s important to YOU, put on those blinders, and stay in your own lane. You are where you are in this season for a reason. Keep going.💚💪🏼
We have been in the car all day it feels like. I am not a fan of getting everyone in and out a million times! I had everyone out and ready to go at the store today, and then realized I forgot my wallet 😩
Guess what?! Day 20/80 is DONE! .
I can’t believe we’re here already and I can’t believe the changes I’m seeing and feeling! .
This program is DIFFERENT. Like nothing I’ve ever done before. But I LOVE IT! .
The acceptance of change is sometimes our biggest weakness. But...”If we change the way we look at things, the things we look at change.” RIGHT?! .
Embrace change. .
It’s not easy but it IS worth it.
I SLEPT IN!!! Only until about 6:50 but hey...I’ll take it. Working on getting my pre-workout superfoods in along with some coffee because that’s ALWAYS necessary! .
Day 20/80, here I come! I cannot believe we’re already on Day 20!!!
YOU GUYS!!! I am filled with so much excitement!!!😆
Before I started his program I was scared. I was doubtful that I could do it...BUT when I learned I’d be just 1 out of 43,000 coaches in an exclusive test group OR just 1 of a little 50 with our team in our private group... I thought, if they can do it, I can do it! .
And GUESS WHAT?! We’re doing it....TOGETHER.👯♀️ Everyday. We are encouraging, pushing, motivating and helping each other through it. .
Check out these progress photos! ALREADY! Look at that. We JUST started!!! 😳Can you imagine 80 Days completed?! 🤯
Sure it’s challenging...but it WORTH IT! 🤩🤩🤩🤩
When I became a coach I knew I wanted to focus on good/balanced nutrition so that I could live a healthy fulfilling life without DIETing to reach my goals. Because let’s be honest...if something has a start and a finish, it’s not going to work long term. This healthy lifestyle is just that, a LIFESTYLE. It has to continue for the results to stick around. .
I also knew that I wanted to help others reach their goals because I LOVE PEOPLE 😍 (were fascinating aren’t we?!) and LOVE helping others. .
What I didn’t know was that I would gain this AMAZING community of the strongest, most powerful and positive women I would ever know. What I didn’t know is that I would lean so heavily on them and they’d ALWAYS be there for encouragement EVERY DAY. What I didn’t know is that this was the key that would allow me to never stop caring so much about myself. To become my best self. To keep going. We are a team. Together we can accomplish anything we put our minds to. No excuses!👊🏼
Day 17- WHAT A DIFFERENCE! ...
We were young we were taught “practice makes perfect.” I don’t know about PERFECT but we know the more you work at something the better we become. ...
Today was one of those times for me! I don’t tend to gravitate towards cardio when I have a choice. Honestly, I modified A LOT in the first couple of weeks with CARDIO CORE.
But TODAY, today I had more in me. Today I modified less. Today I crushed CARDIO! ...
It’s MONDAY! And it’s day 15/80. It just 15 days my mindset has shifted 180°. I seriously thought u couldn’t do this...and look at me! I’m totally doing it. ...
Stop thinking and start doing. YOU CAN do hard things. We were built to adapt. ...
Happy Monday! Use today to be better than you were yesterday. ...

Doesn’t it feel so good to get things done?! ... I’m feeling so grateful today. Grateful that my body is healing quickly and allowing me to do the things I need to get done. ...
I got to workout today. It is not something I HAVE to do, it’s something I GET to do, because I am able. It makes me feel good and gives me energy. I am grateful that I do not stand in my own way when it comes to taking time for myself. I used to. I would think... “I can’t do that”, “I don’t have time”, “the kids need me”, “there’s so much to do around the house”, “I’m too tired”, “I don’t feel like it”, the list goes on...I was standing in my own way. I will not ever do that again. ...
Today has been very productive...I’ve gone grocery shopping, washed and cut up all fruits and veggies for the week, completed my cardio missed from yesterday AND the stretch routine for today, prepped a veggie soup, a chili and salmon burgers, everyone has clean sheets, the kids room is re-arranged organized, dusted and vacuumed, the kitchen is clean and all dishes are washed and now...now it’s time to relax for the rest of this wonderful Sunday. ...
Making time to do the hard and time consuming things on the front end will make your week a whole lot easier! It took me a LONG time to figure that out. ...
I have been resting most of the day thanks to my thoughtful husband. Sleep feels good today. I haven’t been this sick in awhile and I’m hoping it passes quickly.
I’m bummed that I missed my Saturday workout this morning. I haven’t missed one since starting #80dayobsession . I’m hoping to make it up tomorrow. •
I’ve been off of the timed schedule all day. My appetite is non-existent.
So....this is the only thing that sounds good. Yep, #shakeologyballs . I make some and then my husband highjacks half of the batch and turns them into...(swipe left👉🏼). •
Can you tell who’s trying to be good?! 😂
