Manpreet is an HR graduate that is currently employed by aviation and aerospace pioneer, Boeing. The human resource field is competitive, and large organisations like Boeing attract top talent. Manpreet says that through a mentor, she was able to secure her role in a graduate program, which has sky-rocketed her HR experience. Manpreet encourages students to get involved with the mentoring programs that are available on campus. She also highly recommends reaching out to industry associations, all it takes is a little effort on your end! If you’re an HR graduate, consider joining the Australian HR Institute and take advantage of their networking events and educational forums. Just me, loving life in Malta💛. I’ve been back three weeks now… and the beach swims, long lazy lunches and daily social gatherings 💦☀️👫👭👬 have been replaced with uni assessments, juggling finances, and the discipline that comes with teaching, studying and volunteering… #adulting 🤓🤯.
Yesterday, I found myself in a negative dialogue of, “I’m not going to get all this done.”…”I can’t...”, “If only…” 😖
I caught myself and reminded myself, I CHOSE this life - as much as I chose my holiday. Becoming a psychologist, teaching yoga and meditation and being my own ‘boss’ is what I always wanted (still do) and fortunate enough to be living this life🙏. Prioritising, looming deadlines and managing my time/others expectations is something I do day by day, and I ALWAYS make it through🙌🏼. .
So much of the negativity in our lives stem from our own mind.
Our negative thoughts are also energy sapping and disempowering. Can you relate?
💛May we consciously CHOOSE the moment we are in, not wish it away. 💛May we focus our attention on the opportunities available, not on the problems our mind has created. 💛 May we be kind to ourselves and not self-harm with our thoughts.
💛 May we appreciate the gifts of each moment, and the gifts we offer to it.
I studied in Building 2 until the late afternoon lecture. It is three stories building consisting only large lecture rooms with this cute space. Because of that characteristic of building, a group of hundred students come and go every hours. Feels like a storm passing by me. Fortunately, limited quiet study time made me focuse greatly in my business. Microwave was impressive and Im excited to use that when I stay in campus 24 hrs.😃 Interior design is my favorite again. Im proud of my school's interior design. Electronical infrastructure is close to zero but for me, the computer-illeterate, it's super fine.🤗 #텐미닛플래너#호주유학#민주프로젝트#캔버라#대학생활#tenminuteplanner#unilife#canberra#Australia#minjuproject
Chose to climb into bed with a coffee this morning to listen to my uni lectures - and as always a furry little ‘helper’ came to assist. Do you have a #furrylittlefriend helping today too? If so, I’d love to see pics (yup, totally for procrastination purposes, oops I mean study breaks 😉). 💜
