Cliffnotes Version:: @ClarksBotanicals is a line of natural skincare that was born out of tragedy and I’m in love. Want more? ❤️
The inspiration for today’s crazy garden-themed flatlay was my experience using the Clark’s Botanicals products and learning more about their story.
The founder of Clark’s Botanicals was left paraplegic after a diving accident and found that in addition to not being able to walk, he also lost the ability to sweat.
The clogged pores and chronic breakouts inspired him to create a line of natural skincare that really works. The products are filled with ingredients like jasmine and red clover that help to naturally balance and hydrate the skin.
I’ve been loving everything I’ve tried, but if I had to pick two… The first would be The Smoothing Marine Cream which has plant based collagen and glucosamine HCL to hydrate and protect skin, and glycolic acid to soften fine lines over time. The other is the Deep Moisture Mask that adds a crazy amount of hydration to my skin without making it greasy. Instead of using it as a mask, I actually sleep with this on as my nighttime moisturizer and I’ve been loving how refreshed my skin looks. Hydration = 👑
SF Peeps - Clark’s Botanicals is going to be at @SpaceNK on Fillmore until August 30th if you want to try them for yourself.
I can’t believe it’s already been a month since these two were married. On July 14th I had the privilege of standing by my best friend and watching her marry the love of her life. I also had the pleasure of helping her with her flowers and making her vision come to life. This was probably the sweetest and most magical wedding ever! ✨@lonestar04, can we do it all again?! This summer has been a funny season for me for a few reasons... 1) I took on 50% less weddings this year to have some more time for myself so I don't burnout.. 2) I only planted a handful of seeds for annuals and about 10% of those actually grew. 3) I now wish I had rows and rows of 5' high cosmos swaying in the summer evenings, the flower beds where they all used to be because it feels very bare without late summer blooms. I think I need to revamp the garden beds a bit to allow for some wild and crazy cosmos to grow next year. So tonight I am really feeling nostalgic for this bouquet.

Floral drape #installation has taken over my house, my days and even my sleep (dreamt about the mechanics believe it or not). I’ve gotten so many kind words of encouragement and support along the way... your words are literally fueling my fingers!! THANK YOU!
Of course I woke up sick 🤦🏻♀️ (my luck) so I’m hanging on. Just wanted to show you some of the pieces and say thank you 🙏🏼💕😘
I will likely over post this wedding and especially this bouquet because it is easily my favorite of all time! Also, this story will likely be over told because it brought this stunning bride to tears when I delivered it. What a special moment I got to have in this crazy flower life of mine that I wouldn’t trade for anything. @jessicagoldphoto and her camera always taking care of my blooms with these killer photos! #wyblooms#wybrides
A few weeks ago I received a beautiful heartfelt review from one of our lovely couples & then yesterday I received these stunning images to share with you all. I could go on and on about how memorable and wonderful @nicolewds & Michael were to work with. We planned their florals long distance thru emails and a few calls, we just clicked from day one and I love that they trusted us to bring their vision to life, not to mention how delighted we were to work with their incredible vendor team , all of which we highly recommend as well! I thought I'd let Michael & Nicole tell you how their special day turned out! - "Lisa and her team provided the florals for our June 2018 wedding. We fell in love with her work on Instagram and knew immediately she was the florist for us. She is professional and incredibly talented. We trusted her fully to provide us with the most beautiful flowers for our big day. Everything looked (and smelled) amazing!! Thank you so much for bringing our vision to life. We strongly recommend Aspen!!" -Michael & Nicole

The seed is just as sacred as the flower. Through nurturing the seed, we create fertile ground for the petals of our heart to slowly uncurl and blossom in their magnificence. We only need to look to the teachings of nature to understand the importance held within each unique cycle. Through the darkness of winter, we learn to shine our inner light - through the challenges we learn how to celebrate and appreciate the ease.
Just like the moon - you too will move through periods of darkness. Know that these periods are just as holy, sacred, and worthy as your periods of radiant light. .
What would happen if we stopped running away from ourselves?
As Carl Jung shares, what we resist - persists. The longer we push down or shame our discomfort, the longer it will remain. When we learn the tools of how to hold ourselves through any experience - whether to one of deep pain or joyful ecstasy, we learn how to come home to ourselves. When we allow ourselves to be breathed by the Breath of Life, we learn to excavate the bliss from every experience.
Living life with a commitment to deep listening means we reject NOTHING - we welcome it all as a teacher and a guide back to the truth of our souls.
can you give yourself permission to hold yourself - even just for a moment, with all the love you have in your heart?! - @wombenwellness

Hello friends! I hope you all have had a wonderful few days! I took a little unexpected break from social media for a few days-sometimes ya just need a little refresh and reset!☺️ I thought I'd share a photo of the little cafe I work at, because this is my second home in the summers! I snapped this photo of our patio at 5:30 this morning, just after the sun rose.🌞Yes, waking up early can be tough, but getting to open this place up totally makes up for it! I am so fortunate and grateful to have such an engaging job at such a beautiful spot! Enjoy your evening, all!💕
I never thought a hydrangea would be on my list of favorite flowers but these panicled hydrangea (aka PeeGee) are so cool! They look like little clumps of butterflies flying out of the foliage 🦋 Too bad it’s too hot to grow these here in southern california
Today has been a day with a lot of emotion. I attended a beautiful funeral service for an amazing woman, delivered a few wedding invitations, prepared desserts and wrapped presents for a bridal shower and just sat down for a few minutes to reflect on a day that isn’t yet over. Life is precious and fragile and if we let it, it can be filled with all the beautiful and good things that our creator has meant for us. It is up to us how we live it and what we allow to affect us for good. Live your best life and let it overflow with the best of you. That is my take away from this day 💕
I just wanna live inside this blush, burgundy and peachy palette today. Anyone else? So dreamy and relaxing! 🍑💖
Diving into one of these gorgeous cocktails from @theoldfashionedcaravan doesn’t sound so bad either...😉😍 .
Sadly, our shoot was waaaaay out in Malibu and I was too buried in blooms to snag a taste! I definitely need to get on that ASAP though. 🍹💖
