6 large fresh tomatoes
1 small size canned/tinned tomato paste/puree(optional)
2 large onions
1 large red bell pepper/tatashe
2 scotch bonnet peppers/atarodo
1 tbsp curry powder
1/2 tbsp dry thyme
Salt to taste
1/2 to 1 cup vegetable oil
10 beef pieces
1 small onion, sliced
2 garlic cloves
2 seasoning cubes
1 tbsp curry
1 tsp dry thyme
Salt to taste
1. Wash, chop and blend with a little water the tomatoes, bell pepper, scotch bonnet peppers, garlic, ginger and 2 onions.
2. Pour the blended tomato mixure into a medium pot; cook and reduce mixture by 2/3.

CHILI SOY ASPARAGUS
I originally saw this recipe from bonappetite magazine and could not wait to make it myself.
This recipe is spicy umami veggie deliciousness.
You will need
2 Fresno chili peppers
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
1 tablespoon honey
A tablespoon or so of olive oil
1-2 tablespoons of fresh grated ginger
1 tablespoon lime juice
Toasted coconut for garnish
Sauté the asparagus in a medium high heat pan in olive oil tossing the pan frequently. I added the peanuts and Fresno pepper to my sauté. I also covered the pan for a bit so the asparagus could steam. While the asparagus are cooking, in a separate bowl create your sauce mixture of the soy sauce, toasted sesame oil, olive oil, fresh grated ginger, lime juice, and honey. Whisk together. Once the asparagus is ready, plate it and top with the sauce and toasted coconut.
