Just got to our room at The DoubleTree Hilton which is really special 😍 I bought a big salad from this raw food place in Bruges and they failed to tell me my vegan salad had chicken in... And had listed chicken as 'protein'. How ominous. So now I'm having a few snacks while scrambling through the hotel room service menu, to be told all the yummy meals are made with dairy. Argh. Interesting... 💔 Not exactly what you want after eating just chocolate, a few crisps and a bit of bread all day! Maybe it's time for an Espresso Martini or two instead!

this might not look difficult but i kid you not it was an ABsolutely tough one to get through. for me bodyweight exercises can be just as challenging if not harder than lifting dumbbells sometimes, especially as i’ve got a lot of thiccness to carry 😩😂 but i really can’t complain!
anywaysss, but if you’re tired of boring planks then this workout will switch it up for ya! these variations are definitely more engaging and more challenging! so worth a go!
plank feet tap outs [3 x 10]
plank knee taps [3 x 10]
plank kickbacks [3 x 10]
plank donkeykicks [3 x 10]
no rest between exercises but give yourself a 5 minutes rest between sets.
💡pro tips for all exercises: keep a neutral spine; avoid leaning all your weight into your shoulder blades; think with your trunk muscles and squeeze your glutes to help support your spine. ALWAYS remember to breathe and don’t let tension build up around your neck or in your face.

I had planned to gym today but was in serious need of a lie in and now the thought of going outside is not so pleasing... so rest day it is 🤷🏻♀️ I usually have 1-2 rest days a week but usually ends up being one as I like to stay active doing at least something!
It is important to rest and not feel guilty about it as this is when you’re giving time for your muscles to recover. I think it’s also more about listening to your body, as there’s been times when I’ve been so tired but still trained and actually ended up feeling great after. But there also been other times when I’d go and still feel tired after. It’s about balance and knowing what’s best for you. Just because I might have one rest day a week, doesn’t mean that’s optimal for you! There’s so much advice out there but a lot of it is based on personal experience so try out different things and learn to be in tune with your own body 🤗
I popped to Morrison’s to find some of their new vegan range and this is what I picked up ☺️ I have only tried the red velvet cupcake so far but it was delicious! 🤩 I had a look for the veggies in blankets but couldn’t find them 😢

Vegan carrot cake muffins with lemon & orange buttercream 🤤 I’m usually pretty critical of the things I bake but I can actually admit that these are delicious 😍 can’t take any credit for them though - recipe is by @lovingitvegan!

I've been making a conscious effort to use up as many half-used packets and quarter-full jars of things in my fridge and kitchen cupboards recently. The upside is that it forces you to get creative!

tried this new protein bar from planet organic (but brought from ocado) as a lil snack and it was really good!! especially loved the white choc chunks..the flavour combo intrigued me..as I don’t often see white choc things😂 I’ve also got a mocha expresso flavour to try! kinda like a nakd bar/pulsin bar mix up😂
This photo is actually from last Christmas but I’m so excited to eat ALL the cheese again this year! So here we have: @buteislandfoods creamy sheese, @violife_foods cheddar & cranberry cheeses, butternut squash & red pepper pâté, chutney, ajvar, gherkins & pickled onions, sweet chilli crackers, posh flatbread things and some beetroot crackers! It was glorious 😋
