Jett loves watching fish swim. It makes me wish we could have an aquarium in our RV, but that wouldn’t work too well.⠀
We do have wall decals that look like portholes looking out into the ocean. He loves looking at them.⠀
What are some things you do to bring the outdoors (or underwater) inside?
The North Kaibab trail offers hikers a glimpse into the endless depths of the Grand Canyon. The wonders and sheer magnitude of this place simply can’t be described by speech. I can’t wait to experience it all over again this winter, for this is a park I will never tire of 😍

Most people hike around Capitol Peak en route to the Lighthouse, but we decided to go straight up the mountain. At the summit, we were treated to 360° views of Palo Duro Canyon as well as superior cell service.
Behind the scenes at sunset. @blakewhitephotography getting the shot! To the left is the "Lighthouse", a 300-foot tall spire of rock. The Lighthouse is one of the most popular destinations in the park, but on this day, we had the whole place to ourselves.

I cant keep my mind from wandering around this desert paradise in a few short weeks. My favorite trails have never been more tempting.
Hiking by the light of the moon in Palo Duro Canyon. Don't let the warm desert tones fool you; once the sun went down, the temperature dropped to a chilly 25°F. What a beautiful place to freeze our butts off.
