Ooh la la!
🇫🇷 The Coco vase sitting pretty with some gorgeous blooms from @mylittleflowershoppe.florist (my dodgy flower arranging, not theirs!) 🌷 ‘The New Paris’ was written Lindsey Tramuta, an American who has lived in Paris for a decade and contributes to the New York Times, Conde Nast Traveller & Bon Apetit. With hundreds of striking photos, it’s a gorgeous gift for any Francophile 💕

Tulips don't know when to stop! What makes them so dope is that they continue to grow after being cut, up to an inch or more. Tulips bend gracefully, caused by the dual effects of continuing stem growth. They are “phototropic”, bending towards the light, so rotate containers daily to keep stems more upright. and gravity on the flowerhead.
Hope. To believe in tomorrow no matter how many consecutive rainy days there are. To see sunshine in your dreams when reality is cloudy. To believe it will be the two of us-alone- on romantic dates, no matter how many years of babies, medical issues, and unforeseen circumstances arise. These weeks have been full. Flare ups of kiddos rare medical issues, ER visit, therapy, fallen trees on a chicken coop, extra bills, emergency dentist, sick dogs, car repairs - and the list goes on. Fall planting is messy, lots of work that feels fruitless, cold and dark. Against all reason - there is still hope. Spring flowers remind me to wait, reminds me after the season of dark comes a season of life. .
