Steps 10032 - it was a grotty day today. I went for my run inbetween rain showers. I found the first 5 minutes quite tough, but after that i got into the rhythm and was fine. They were nice but I’m rubbish at cooking pancakes (ask the hubby 😂)I only had half the amount of blueberries as ran out and not enough honey. Going to try the honey and almond pancakes next time to see if they are any better! Nice change though to the ‘dry’ protein muffins.

‼️Way back Wednesday post for ya! ‼️Taking it back to 1.5 years ago when I was busting out of those jeans wearing the same shirt and you can see a fat roll! Granted that was 1 month after my last baby was born but still! I used the im post-partum card so much to eat whatever I wanted thinking it would just magically fall off when I breastfed! Wrongo! It kept me big and I stayed that way for a hot minute! Now having a whole new mindset and being mindful of my eating habits has me going in the  right direction! Took me a minute, but I did it!

👉🏻LOWER TIME COMMITMENT you can only make it to the gym 3 days a week? Only can allot 30 mins for a workout? You can incorporate full body workouts to get the most out of your workouts for effective training that gets results in the shortest time commitment!

👉🏻EASY TO MANIPULATE in order to prevent plateaus in your training it is important to continue to manipulate your workouts, whether that is sets, reps, weight, rest time etc. with full body workouts it is easy to do this! Since one body part may get one to two exercises total in a given workout you can easily swap them out for different exercises to hit muscles from different angles, incorporate a different movements etc.

👉🏻KEEP IT FUN since full body workouts require a lower level of frequency! You’ll be doing them 3-4x a week rather than 5-7x a week you’ll rarely get bored of your workouts and there is SOO much room for creativity and variety!

This is your life to take control of. So please, cut all of the ‘shortcuts’ out of your mind. There is not one cleanse, one pill, one shake that can do this for you. This is the harsh reality.

Did you know plié squats are awesome as a booty strength builder AND hip opener? Oh yeah! PLUS, they’re excellent for strengthening the inner thighs. 💁🏼‍♀️Basically, if you do your 50 rep Plié Squat, you’ll be living your best life in minutes.

Form tips:
•Stand with feet slightly wider than shoulder distance apart.
•Turn toes out to a 45 degree angle.
•Bend knees and lower down, keeping your spine long and chin level.
•Squeeze your glutes and return to standing position.
•Add weights or pulses for extra 🔥. Tight hips & flat butts, be gone!
