Sometimes we are so hooked on immediate gratification that it's challenging to just keep going. Trusting the process takes courage and patience but it really goes a long way. I've found that a combination of trusting the process and enjoying the journey simultaneously has been key. What we do in our new routines, daily rituals and new healthier lifestyle all add up. Days turn to weeks and weeks to months and one day we look back and it all makes sense. Until then it's just one day at a time. Getting constructive and never destructive and remembering that we are worth it!
Monday morning affirmations & preparing for the week ahead. Be easy on yourself today as you are human and capable of amazing thing. Let’s make this Monday feel like a Friday 💪🏼😋 (ok that might be pushing it but you get the picture)
Amidst the busyness
of our inner and outer worlds,
we can so easily forget the miracle that is unfolding here moment by moment.
The rarity and preciousness of the whole thing,
being broken 💔 and whole ❤️ at the same time,
never quite knowing how love will shift shapes and take form, even during testing times.
It can take our breath away.
...if we will allow it.
As humans we all deep down desire to be accepted. To be shown that no matter what we matter and we are wanted. So when that rejection moment hits, sometimes it can feel like the whole world just went black, that the ground beneath us fell out or that we need to crawl into a hole and just shut ourselves away from others. The most difficult part is to see that the rejection means whatever it was, job, person, trip, promotion or what have you - wasn’t the right fit for your best self right at this MOMENT. Trust that timing is a real thing, that if you REALLY want that awesome job, or that relationship, the universe hears you - it will send it your way. So take that moment of rejection and consider that the universe may have just done you a solid - it’s holding out because it knows the right one is just a little further down the road 💕💕 Patience my dear traveler - keep dreaming - it’s on its way. #mentalhealth#dreams#universe#trusttheprocess#unseen#rejection
Sorry for the short vacation from posting, but after completing my second week “in the real world” I am feeling more encouraged than ever to share my journey with you.
I will be working a sales oriented job and with that I want to share the things I learn day in and day out. Whether it’s something good or something bad I want to facilitate learning opportunities for you.
There are 3 things I recommend doing when starting a new job:
1. Being enthusiastic and asking questions... Essentially anything I am wondering I because I’m trying to consume as much information as possible.
2. Introducing yourself to as many people as possible. Put yourself in a position that is uncomfortable in terms of talking with people in positions you aspire to be in because they will only respect you for that courage of coming up to them. They will not think it’s weird
3. Control the other 9 hours of your day (figuring you sleep for 6 and work 9): whether that be a morning routine, working on something you love after work, hanging out with friends
