Whilst walking on the island we came across some men chopping at the trees. When they noticed us passing them they offered us a freshly harvested coconut, still in the buoyant flesh that surrounds the hard but most people recognise as a coconut. Having trouble getting going this Monday, this Red-eyed Tree Frog feels the same way. Take a look at the intricate design of the nictitating membrane, the theory is this helps break up the red eyes, furthering the camouflage to help this frog sleeping in the daytime.
