'Road to Ladakh' Long back I had read a book, by famous Brazilian author Paulo Coelho - The road to Santiago. The book speaks of his beautiful nuances on this pilgrimage and how he discovers himself. I'm not sure whether I shd compare this road to a pilgrimage route, because I am not a religious person. But while sitting here on this rock, surrounded with intimidating mountains, a gorgeous stream flowing by and the cold breeze.... the unspeakable emotions inundate my heart. Is this what people often label as 'spiritual experience'. How tiny I find myself amidst this towering and picturesque landforms. All my haughtiness, self-confidence, arrogance melt away. I am just a speck of dust in this panorama. I am lost. And strangely, I am happy being lost, being no one. The best thing about the #roadtoleh is it's newness. Everything, from culture, it's people, to the work of nature .. you ll find everything which you ve not seen before. For the first timers, it is like tasting a new cuisine, whose ingredient will tease your palette. You realize that there is much in this world to see and you ve so little time. So hurry. Don't waste that time, live your life.
My tip to u all :- Strip your egos, put aside your prejudice and take the road to Ladakh as if you belong to the tribe.
