• COLONEL MOUTARDE •
I been thinking recently how often Instagram feels like an endurance test. To be successful they say you should post everyday. So for me, posting about what I’m creating has become creative in itself. Some days I’m inspired and it’s exciting. Other days it’s pretty boring. But out of that boredom has come the most beautiful surprises. I’ve written more about what’s happening to me and what I actually think than I ever thought I would. Thanks for being here and being part of that. 💕 #makerstrong
Today was Merry Makers Fair, my final sale of the year. And what a day it was. 😍 Thank you to everyone who came out and said hello, supported me (and all the other incredibly talented makers), and just stopped by to chat. It was so nice to meet so many new people, and to see all the familiar faces. I feel really lucky I get to do what I love, and to belong to such a wonderful maker community, and that Londoners are so supportive. Thank you, thank you. 🥰 Big hugs and kisses to @woolymaple and @cocoaloenaturals for organizing the best show, every.single.time. You gals are the best. 🎄✨🎀
I am now tucked in with my sweet Simon, plugging away on Isaac's Solstice Sweater (will it ever end?!?!?) watching Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. 🏺🔥 Happy Sunday, friends. 🤗
I really would have thought I had knit more this last year, but then 2018 was a good year for gifts and commissions too.
