Thank Goodness its Friday. Many times I wish I were a kid again, to have ALL that energy and excitement. But alas, I’m a 62 year old grandmother and although I get excited and happy about a lot of things, my jumping up in the air for joy…well, I’ll just say that my knees won’t take it.
It has been a LONG week here in Atlanta and also for Miss Scout who moved with her family across the country to the Sunshine State.
Hope y’all are jumping, skipping or just plain excited that it’s Friday, I know that I am.
Have a Fabulous Friday!

I’ve always loved Vintage and the Classics and as I have gotten older I like them even more. So many times I wish things were more simple. Not just in the way lifestyles are today but also in fashion and not just children’s. I sit here and think about when my parents used to say “when I was a kid” I find myself saying those things now. When I was a child, I played outside until dark, rode my bike without a helmet, played in the creek in the woods, drank out of the garden hose and ran around with a glass peanut butter jar with holes poked in the top catching lighting bugs and we didn’t worry about locking our door so much or alarm systems. It seemed simpler, happier. When I design and sew I want to bring back those vintage and classic styles. (I guess it’s the old girl in me) This precious dress reminded me of Flapper Girl 20’s and I just love it. Sleeveless, fully lined with an soft tulle overlay and pearls and paired with white lace trimmed capri leggings a satin and silk flower for the hair and the look on Miss Alyssa’s Beautiful smile…Vintage Priceless.
Even though it is 90+ degrees here in Atlanta, I’m gearing up for Fall. Is this little dress not just adorable?
Completely wearable now in this weather with some precious sandals and for cooler temps…pop a little tee underneath, little knee socks, mary janes and a cardi.
I’m so in love with this Sweet Fox that I’ve decided to carry a few little Francis Fox pieces and accessories. 🧡🍁🍂
Over here leap frogging into the weekend with Sewing Projects at Cece and Miss B and putting on my other hat over at C Elaine Photography with a First Birthday portrait and Cake Smash session.
AND it’s finally stopped raining after a week. I have like a MILLION things to get done before tomorrow so I am literally leaping into the weekend and can’t wait to share how it turns all out with you.
The first birthday princess is going to be modeling one of my Couture First Birthday gowns.
Yeah, I am pretty excited. 😍
I have been MIA the last few days trying to get “stuff” done and I am using the word stuff to remain a lady. It has totally been one of those weeks this week. It has literally rained and I mean rain, pour, flood, thunder, lightning, wind. ALL WEEK LONG…
Well except for today and the sun is finally out. OMG, y’all I am truly one of those people that if the sun isn’t shining I’m NOT EITHER. I get that way in the Winter too when it is cold, gray and wet. Lordy, that’s when I want to throw it all in a suit case and head south…. Way south, past Miami south. With all that being said I walked around in a “funk” most of the week, cut out all kinds of fabric and managed to finish and pop in the mail three adorable outfits to my Momma Jamie Hoffman out in Colorado; only to learn that she is moving closer to me than Colorado. Miss Sadie and Miss Scout model for me and we’re adding baby, Millie. She has the cutest three girls that are going to be modeling my “Sister Fall Bishop Peasant Dress” that I’ll be shopping for fabric for. ❤️
Finishing up late Summer short sets and sweet little dresses in between patterns and fabric trimming for my Fall line.
This little lovely is headed off to Sweet Annabelle today; I can’t hardly wait to see what her awesome Momma does with her photoshoot.
This set available on Etsy after August 1; limited sizes.
Nothing is more satisfying than pulling together fabric, thread, lace and creating something beautiful. While designing children’s clothing for my little business, I love bringing together a bit of classic and vintage. It’s my take on a Bishop Peasant dress, the best of two worlds in a little girls dress.
Having had a daughter and now grand-daughters, I love sewing dainty one of the kind dresses. This lovely is no different, just introduced at my little clothing boutique and will be available MTO in Vintage fabrics in sizes 12 months to 5 years with some limited pieces in RTS.
This Cece_and_miss_b original Vintage inspired Bishop Peasant Dress is my favorite thing to sew right now. I’ll be using Vintage fabrics and Vintage reproduction fabrics along with Vintage lace for the collars.
Available MTO in sizes 12 months to 5.
I’ll have RTS in limited sizing and fabrics coming soon a.k.a. as fast as my pedal works on the machine.
Want a Custom? Fav colors, prints? Message me and if you’re willing to Collab…you just might be in luck.
Miss Blayze can celebrate Birthdays like a princess in her birthday set from the shop. While Miss Blayze was a princess in her outfit, this ole birthday girl celebrated with a quiet weekend, regrouping after a long week, editing photos from a trip to the Botanical Gardens and designing our Cece and Miss B original Vintage Bishop Peasant dress that I’ll be sharing tomorrow.

In case you missed me today.....I’ve finally felt like sewing today. Still trying to gather up my strength and get in the swing of things after an unexpected cardiac cath last week, a week of rest and looking like a walking drugstore.
Is this child’s hair beautiful? Just look at those curls. So blessed to have this little Princess modeling for us. Miss Danara you’re so beautiful in you’re First Birthday Couture from Cece and Miss B. 💕💕💕💕💕
