Back to the pool today if anything just to clear my head. Continue to feel my "dark side" creeping in and managing it of late has been a struggle.
It amazes me how it comes in and rears its ugly head even with all the great things and people I have in my life. How if I give it just a little it will start to take small pieces of me and then bigger and bigger chunks. Then things around me begin to suffer and I feel the spiral start. I wish I could explain to those that care about me and that I love what goes on inside my head and heart. How I know what's going on with me but that my mind just won't or can't stop the feelings I'm having. 20+ years with this disease and I still have more questions that answers.
In all this internal battle their seems to be one thing that keeps me sane and maybe even safe some days, training. My constant companion that gives me enough good feelings so I don't lose it all completely. Truely grateful to have found triathlon, it's routines, it consistency and it's community. Den där känslan när musklerna börjar darra så smått inifrån och till sist vibrerar ut, nästan som föraningen av en förestående jordbävning, för att till sist ge skakningar i hela mellangärdet och det känns som att de skriker ”Inte EN enda till! PALLAR inte mer!” Det är det som är slamups och som jag älskar att hata denna förbannade styrkeövning 😂
