The Foundation Coach Training Course continues it’s tour around the country, this weekend in at the Engadine Leisure Centre in Sydney.

Participants started the two day face to face program yesterday with the the focus on swimming, then bike and run sessions today.

We have a fantastic group of new coaches coming through with the help of our experienced Mentor Coaches: Mick Delamotte, @stilldrbre, @samdougotriathlon, Robyn Low-Hart, Symon Astley and Dani Andres.

We’ve had now over 70 individuals take on the course developing the fundamentals of coaching triathlon and equipping these coaches with the necessary skills and resources to start coaching.

Melbourne’s the next up on 3&4 November as well as a female’s only course on 17-18 November.

Sometimes you get some very special motivations. Today I got this very nice present with the advice it is very sensitive and needs good care. My goal will now be to take care of it very thoroughly during the coming 50 years.
I hope that I can and will also improve my coaching skills so can became a better coach to a lot of athletes.

🔹подготовка основных групп мышц к работе в воде.
🔹снижение вероятности травм верхнего плечевого пояса.
🔹для повышения гибкости связок и суставов.

Упражнения:
🔹сгибание/разгибание локтевых суставов перед собой.
🔹отведение/ приведение согнутой в локтевом суставе руки.
🔹подъем прямой руки перед собой.
🔹подъем руки в сторону.
🔹тяга прямой рукой вниз.
🔹сгибание/разгибание локтевых суставов из-за головы.
🔹пружинки снизу/вверх
🔹выкруты.
Количество повторений 6-12 раз на каждую руку.

Более мелкие мышцы расположенные немного глубже в стопе, помогают стабилизировать тело при ударах стопы о землю и отталкивании во время бега. —
Во избежании травм и для улучшения техники бега рекомендуем вам выполнять следующий комплекс упражнений направленных на укрепление мышц стопы:
🔹ходьба на носках.
🔹ходьба на пятках
🔹ходьба на внутренней стороне стопы.
🔹ходьба на внешней стороне стопы.
🔹передвижение 2-мя стопами одновременно (вправо и влево ).
🔹продвижение стопы вперёд только за счёт пальцев.
🔹отведение и приведение стопы с эластичной резиной на каждую ногу.

Weekends are made for racing! Started the day off with the Duathlon State Champs, then swapped the TT for the Roadie and raced another Crit of the Super Series. We finished the day off with a picnic at the race course, watching the Elite men’s and women’s races! I am pretty proud of my wifey who got away with a second place in the Women’s Cat2 race, especially after some busy weeks at work without much training. #racingisthebesttraining #pacc #racing #cyclingsa #superseries #triathlonsouthaustralia #swimbikerun #ridetodayornot #duathlon #triathloncoaching #drdcoaching

Congrats @julzeey26 on placing 2nd at today's non draft sprint race in Yarrawonga. 🥈 She swam strong, biked the house down, and held on for the run. A very solid result after a rough 12 months, so I am absolutely stoked she is back where she deserves to be.

@vossie_triathlon made lots of little mistakes today which in draft legal, seconds amount to minutes. The reality is this young man has done a total of 3 triathlons so the learning curve is very steep. Keep at it mate. 9th place.

It’s early days, but I love positive feedback. “Brilliant athlete planner document thanks, those training sessions look spot on as a way to structure my weeks.” All of our athletes receive an ‘Athlete Planner’ - which is an overview of their training programme and includes what strategies we’re going to use, what the training will look like, how we’re going to get the athlete from A to B.

To get stronger glutes, first of all you have to know how to activate them 🍑🍑 •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• 🗣Sound on for this one!! My wonderful helpers @will_usher_precision_coach & @Raya_hubbell_precision_coach are showing us all how it’s done with these two simple warm up/activation exercises which can be performed before any cycle & run session as well as part of your S&C routine. I even use these as my pre-race warm up to make sure my glutes are ready to go! ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
