My very first tri today. Swim, bike, run. But it's a MTN bike ride with 4k elevation gain on sandy soil. I didn't do as well as I hoped, but that just amps me up for next year. #triathalon#xterra#bigblue#tahoe .
12 miles in and I #run into my homie @exodus_for_life Thanks for the dope video homie. Big race in 2-months! @hfactorwater The training continues...Thank you @prospectfitnessbrooklyn for your continued support.
This guy - yesterday we were up at 5 am so he could run a half marathon and then swim 3300 meters (while I ran 18 miles #indymonumental ), today he spent four hours on the indoor trainer for 55 miles (including 2 hours of climbing for 6300 feet of elevation gain-wth?!) and then a 15 minute run, and still all smiles. Always earned, never given - 2 months until #ironmanlouisville2018 (crazy impressed by his kind of crazy and crazy in love)
Had a great race In Terwillegar today! Great times in all 3 areas for me and a personal best run! Thanks @taytezap for a great day! I need to say thank you to all the friends and family who have supported me though the years to get me here. Thank you @unfoldingwithyloils for your continuous support and love. Couldn’t do it with out you and the Kids.
Here's a question I get asked a lot. Nerves talk to each other via chemical reactions. In a very condensed nutshell, ice lowers the temperature these reactions happen in and therefore slow nerve communication. Pain signals are slowed down and other pain related chemical reactions (inflammation) are slowed down. That's why ice seems to help with pain.
Heat on the other hand is great for increasing blood flow to an area via vasodilation. That's why you get nice and pink when you apply heat. This vasodilation helps change the fluid dynamics in painful tissue which creates a nervous system response that helps lower pain, amongst other things.
Heat is not helpful for acute inflammation because inflammation causes heat. More is not always better.
In September I’m competing in an Olympic Triathalon and will be raising money for @refugecharity - a fantastic charity which supports thousands of domestic violence victims every day.
Raising awareness of domestic violence is something I’m really passionate about. I don’t have the biggest sphere of influence but I really hope doing this will help raise awareness, support victims and stop domestic violence. It’s with awareness we can bring about change...and that’s what is going to get me round the course in a few weeks!

Today I managed to complete my Triathlon in 1:39:08 just making it in under my 1 hour 40 min goal and managing a PB taking off 17min 36sec from our 2016 time and managing to finish the swim in 11th of 82 starters which I’m buzzing about! Cycle and run needs some serious work but had blast even if the many bizarre facial expressions say otherwise.
Remember all of this fun and pain was for a wonderful cause #CyclingWithoutAge and any post event donations to their wonderful cause would be greatly appreciated and thank you again to everybody who donated 🙏
Race day. The day I thought would never come and now is upon me. Yeah I am doing something absolutely epic today but let me tell you more about my why. My why is Jacob, Kayleigh, and Raelyn. They are some of my angel riders from the last year. Jacob was my first angel rider and I will never forget running two races with him in the same day. He loves to go fast. He is my swim motivation. Kayleigh is my Ragnar angel rider. The longest race I have done to date (even though not the farthest I have run). She is my motivation for my bike leg. Raelyn is my newest angel rider. I got to introduce her to racing and she loved it. Seeing her smile at me as we ran along the course will continue to pull me along the marathon route today. Her joy quickly becomes mine.

Special thanks to @brett_price77 for the bike clips 🤙🏻
When I signed up for my #triathalon I was almost 30 weeks pregnant with Paige. I figured I had plenty of time to train. As soon as she was born, I thought to myself, "what the heck was I thinking!" Although I didn't train like I had hoped, I had more fun than I thought was possible. #triathamom was such a great experience and I hope to do it again! I enjoyed every part of it even though I was slow.
Today, I finished my triathlon with a 2 year old and a 4 month old and I rocked it! . My total time was 1:50:01.7, I did my 300 meter swim in 9:52.1, my 9.7 mile bike ride in 50:39.5, and my 5k run in 44:47.5 #triathlonsprint#Triathamom2018#momstrong#iamstrong#MyTriStory#myracemypacemyfinishline @gotriathamom

Meet @dorie.d.fit in OKC. Dorie is a caring (and BUSY) mother in addition to being a dedicated athlete.
Here’s what she thinks is so great about WarmUp and how it benefits her regimen. 💯👏
