The first one to guess 3 changes correctly will get a shoutout in my story 🙌🏼
Remember how this used to be a thing in magazines back in the day? I was always amazed at how the things could disappear from left to right 😧
BTW, the color changes don’t count as a change here. These are my presets, that will be available for you shortly! 🥳
Would you like me to run you through the changes and explain to you in my story? if so leaf me 🍁 this emoji
This is the perfect example of me dealing with stress in my life. 😁😁😁😁😁😁 extreme hotness, speedy taxis, street food smell, no time to pose. all that mess made me laugh 😆
Don’t let the problems defeat you or run over you 🚕, happiness is the cure. Wish you all laughing Friday 🧡💛
HEY. HAPPY FRIDAY!

Well, next week.

"But what about your career?" For me, quitting my job and traveling was actually a boost to my career. Each recruiter, each interviewer was eager to hear about my travel experience, and saw it as a bold and impressive move. It made me come across as self-assured, and someone who knows what she wants and goes after it. It demonstrates my ability to work diligently towards, and accomplish a big goal. I shared the challenges of solo travel and how I had to be flexible and find creative solutions - who wouldn't want that in an employee? I got FOUR job offers! And am wayyy happier in a way better job than the one I was afraid to leave!! Of course, I had a lot of other things going for me - good experience and references, and lucky timing. Just don't let fear hold you back! .
My adventures in Ireland included a visit to the Giant’s Causeway, a large outcropping of basalt pillars. It’s one of Ireland’s best known attractions, and a sight I was excited to see. But when I got there I was ... underwhelmed. Yes, it was geologically interesting. Yes the area was pretty and nice enough. It just didn’t thrill me.
Maybe it was the number of people around (although I’m sure it’s far worse in the summer). Maybe it was because I’ve seen similar formations elsewhere. Maybe I’m just a spoiled traveller. 🤷♀️
Ultimately it’s often hard to pinpoint why one place thrills us while a similar location leaves us flat. Or why my favourite city (London, always) is another person’s nightmare. The fact is we all bring our own backgrounds and experiences and prejudices with us. And those are the lenses through which we see and interact with the world. It’s something I’ve been thinking a lot about lately, both on a personal and professional level.
So, yes, I wasn’t blown away by the Causeway. But that doesn’t mean I would tell others to skip it. If you’re eager to see it, by all means include it on your Ireland itinerary when the time comes. It might just be the highlight of your trip.
The moment when you close your eyes to run away from everything... To escape this reality. To go to a world where rivers gently flow into the ocean carrying the scent of lotus flowers... A place where waterfalls falling from towering mountains kiss the black sand... a green valley full of colourful flowers, birds and cute little creatures🌴🌸🦎🦋🐦. This is Hawaii for you 🌺 Islands of peace and tranquility, a place where you can come back to your true self 🙏
Have you planned your winter escapes?! Where to next? ☺️
@sheisnotlost in Hawaii!
Around the world, brothers, partners, sons and fathers are all dying younger than they should. The Movember Foundation is trying to reverse this by tackling some of the biggest killers: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide. Support a great cause and even if you're unable to raise awareness through growing a physical moustache, you can donate through the link in my bio. Happy Friday folks 〰️. PC: @danny_morton_
Really great event today at the Art Gallery of NSW called Fearless, celebrating women artists, in particular discussing the unique female focused restoration projects and the importance of bridging gender divides in art and history.
