Take me back to sweet sweet holidays, wine tours, watching people bungy, exploring New Zealand and the much more relaxed state of life that being off work and out of the city brings! This week has been full on with shorter changes between night shift and day shift than I usually like, plus the F45 challenge meal prep and workouts. I'm feeling good but sore and after a long day at work yesterday all I wanted was chocolate 🙈 resisted the urge but it was definitely my first major wobble of the challenge.
Dear #wanaka , we’ve never fallen in love SO quickly! You amazed us from the moment we laid eyes on you.. from our hike up #royspeak , to strolling the lake in search of #thatwanakatree . You were our favorite honeymoon stop, and where we dream of retiring! How crazy, that we met by chance during our New Zealand road trip. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Have you ever been TOTALLY blown away by a place?! If so, where was it?? We’d love to add it to our over flowing bucket list 😆.
Ps—if you’ve checked out our new blog, yes, THIS is our cover photo 💙. •
As our days in the northern hemisphere are getting increasingly short (and cold for us), I keep thinking of how New Zealanders are in springtime with summer on the horizon. Dangit. ☀️ 🏖️ ⠀
NZ South ~ Dunedin Railway Station perhaps embodies Dunedin's wealthy inheritance. During the city's most prosperous years this railway station was the country's busiest, handling up to 100 trains each day! Construction began in 1903 and the station was officially opened in 1906. It was designed in the fashionable, desirable and highly expensive Edwardian Baroque style by architect George Troup.
So I've just seen that I've been featured on @best_hand_made_embroidery 's page, thanks for the love guys! Working on some new stuff while balancing travelling/working/living abroad in the worst accomodation I've ever seen 😐 😂 life isn't all fun and rainbows but I will get back to my usual arty self soon
Let me tell you about a place. I can’t count the number of times I’ve been here. Ever since primary school days this place invigorates every cell in me. It gives me and my family goosebumps. It wakes up a childlike sense of wonder inside of you. I belong here most. Up in the clouds, exposed yet tucked in and sheltered from the elements. Cooking mac n cheese slowly on the fire top, playing cards by candle light with new faces, exchanging stories. Rising at dawn with my sister to watch the day roll in, wearing our sleeping bags outside, braving the icy strong winds on the ridge line for unimaginable sites. Are we dreaming? Away from all the busy, all the rush of day to day life. You step out of routine and slow down enough to realise what’s important up here. You feel love, you feel connection, you feel inspiration, you feel small, you feel a different kind of energy, you feel alive. Problems you thought you had don’t exist. Always leaving with a renewed perspective, my heart skips a beat for these misty mornings in another world. Words will never be enough to express my love for you sunrise hut.

Charming, dramatic, lovely, wonderful, attractive, pleasing, graceful, splendid, satisfying, .. lot of words coming to my minds when I m front this waterfall. She’s so simplistic and unique in a same time.
