The mighty Mohikanui. We have just returned from 5 glorious days on the Old Ghost Road, walking from Lyall to Seddonville in Buller, West Coast. What an absolute gem of a bike trail and walking track. This shot was taken on the last day where we scrambled down from the track to lunch beside the Mohikanui River. Awesome West Coast at its absolute best!
When you have never hiked before or exercised in a long time and decide to climb 1,581m up a mountain. The 6hour round trip was nearly the death of me. So proud of my little legends, the only kids I saw that made it up Roy’s peak that day! #nz#royspeak#familygoals#7 &6smashedit #royspeaktrack
-This has to be one of the most breathtaking drives I have ever taken, which was made even more beautiful by the gorgeous weather and snowcapped peaks. The winding mountain roads from Queenstown to Glenorchy is a must do for anyone visiting Central Otago. This shot of Lake Wakatipu was taken from a viewpoint on Glenorchy-Queenstown Road-
Tag who you would love to take on this road trip!
Taking burritos to new heights today. Believe it or not this is the first time since we opened Burrito Craft nearly 3 years ago that I have made it up the mountain. Too busy making the food for all the wonderful customers. Its nice to take the time to enjoy what is right here in our own backyard !
The Taranaki Falls Track starting in Whakapapa Village is an easy 5.3 km walk which will take you around 2 hours. The Taranaki water fall is pretty spectacular and makes for a great day out in National Park. On a clear day you can see the National Park township and main road to Taupo. 📸: @leonie.morgenstern
Some days start better than others, sometimes they can surprise you with a happy coincidence. But remember, don’t take life too seriously... it’s doubtful you’ll get out alive ^^~
