Only the people crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do ✨ Get out there, wherever you are, enjoy the sunset, laughs, nature, and all things this beautiful world has to offer us
Haha! Is that you? Travel light and never take anything ‘nice to have’. I’ve learnt to travel with a curated wardrobe that works for every event. And if you’re not wearing it at home, I bet you won’t wear it on your travels either.
So how did I wash my pads when I traveled in France?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
First, I have a regular cycle and I knew my period was coming either on the airplane or just arrived in Paris. I prepared around 15 different sizes pads & a menstrual cup and stored them in a cosmetic bag and put it in my carry bag.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I was right about my period's timing, it welcomed me when I was on my second flight and I had the cup & heavy pads as the backup!! I folded & stored my used pad in the same cosmetic bag...🙈( eww...what about the hygiene? I traveled light and they didn't get messy and dirty...so don't judge me!! ) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I didn't soak them because I couldn't find a damn container to bring with me, so * I rinsed & squeezed them until I saw the water became clear (not the bloody or pink-ish colors) then *I used the stain remover soap bar to wash out the stain on the pads. * And then squeeze and twist the pads again to wrench out as much water as possible. *I hung dry them in the bathroom. (next couple day I hung them in the sun)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Surprisingly, they looked nice & clean! I just throw them in the washing machine when I came back just in case it didn't dry properly and kept the moist in the pads. ( The weather in Brittany wasn't good and I hung them in the bathroom to dry) It didn't take long to hand wash them and I didn't really mind to do it when I was on holiday.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I'm so glad we managed to minimize our luggage and traveled light & it wasn't that complicated & difficult to have ZW period!!🙌🏼❤️⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

We stayed in a sweet little homestay in the Tan An district, far enough away from the river to avoid flooding, but close enough to cycle everywhere on single gear bicycles. We loved wandering the markets, taking breaks to drink chocolatey coffee, or cocktails during the 5 hour long happy hours. Travelling with just hand luggage and a tight budget, we refrained from buying too many things, but lots of people go there specifically to have clothes and suits hand tailored or jewellery custom made. One offer we couldn’t refuse was a ridiculously cheap and skillful haircut which had us both lying on reclining chairs having our heads massaged to pumping EDM music - unfortunately we haven’t managed to find such a level of service back in the UK. When the sun was shining, we cycled a few flat miles to An Bang beach where we swam in the crashing waves and drank endless mango smoothies. Once suitably sandy, we returned back to the city which was even more alive at night, beautiful lanterns illuminating the streets, and scattered in the river like light up lily pads #hoianancienttown
Plan your light trip like a jigsaw. Pull the pieces together and they will all fit. But you have to do some thinking first: where will you go? What will you do there? How long will you stay? What are the essentials you should carry?
Never in my life have I ever packed so light. Everything I needed for our Taylor Swift concert trip fit into these two bags! Never mind the fact it was only for one night (my husband can pack a weeks worth in it) 😂. This little duffel bag has carried us through a lot for 15 years and held up amazingly. It went through basic training and tech school with my husband. He's taken it on almost every TDY, and vacation. It's been on every overnight hospital stay. Traveled around the world and then some and all it has is a small hole. Samsonite is the way to go 👌
Hach ich wollte nochmal hier Danke an alle sagen, die heute an mich gedacht haben und mir gratuliert haben! Mittlerweile bin ich nun also 22 Jahre alt.
Anyone else a pack rat like me? I am trying to pack for a 3 day conference and have told myself I can do just a carry on! Umm I don’t think that’s going to work out for me ...in my defense I do have to pack both work and fun clothing 🙈 #travellight#packingproblems
I’ve ridden a bicycle since I was very small. And there were no trainer wheels back then!
Unfettered, the wind in your hair, and no traffic wardens to worry about.
It’s the perfect way to explore new territories, and to go ndWhizzing down an unknown little side street, or into a park for a play on the swings.
Cycling makes life much more accessible. And the wind in your face feels like a Spring clean of your mind, blowing away all those persistent thoughts.
Bonus: it lifts the corners of your mouth so that you just can’t help smiling. -
My handbag is as big as my luggage. Haha. If I'm not travelling for leisure #gatalkaki , then I'll take my cute #MaryKay luggage with me. (Love it @marykaymysg ! ) Otherwise, I'll be carrying my favourite @deuter backpack. .
Looking forward to Mary Kay Seminar 2018 this weekend at Setia City Convention Hall! 💕 #mkseminar2018 .
Psst! Can you guess how heavy is my luggage? Kalau betul, sa bagi hadiah 😝
