The Colosseum is an amphitheater from the time of the Roman Empire, built in the first century. Its original name, Flavian Amphitheater, refers to the Flavian dynasty. Colosseum is due to a important statue that was nearby, the Colossus of Nero🏟

A night at the museum.
Ok it was my lunch break, but don't tell anybody.
This was in the bond store gallery on the fourth floor.
Before I only thought there was one floor in the bond store. But if you go through the back door, I'm not sure, but I think there's three or four more!
This was a display about the Black War. Which was a shameful time in Tasmanian history. Thought provoking and definitely worth seeing!
I had seen an ad for an exhibition called 'The National Picture: the art of Tasmania's Black War', and that's what I thought it was. But that only starts today apparently.
So I'll have to go back I guess!
Pity it's not on at night 😉
I asked, and He didn't tell me his name, lol

#Grandplace , #Brussels !
La Grand-Place, #BrusselsSaveLa Grand-Place, #Brussels , also known as the Grand Place, is a #UNESCO World Heritage Site in #Belgium that was inscribed in 1998!
The buildings that surround this area were most built in the late 17th century. The architectural details of these buildings, not just the Grand Palace, depict the #cultural and social life of the era when it was built in.
This is another view of the same place that I shared recently. There is a flag that is different in the two images, Can you spot the flag difference? Hint: I am not talking about the Belgian flag ;) #illuminateddots
#tbt to seven years ago today, which was undoubtedly one of the wildest days of my life. A day that went deep into the heart of some of the darkest places, as well well as a day blanketed by some of the purest of light...
