The wind was full of mischief the other night. I meet so many interesting people up here. I love hearing their stories. And evidently they enjoy hearing my own desert stories. The other night I talked about my past Burning Man adventures. Gave some wide eyed travelers tips on washing their heels in vinegar to prevent cracks from the alkaline dust and told them how to make do with just a tent and no RV in the dust storms of the Playa. The next Burn approaches and I’ll be sitting it out, but the universe still sends me people who seek out those stories. And lend me their own. Stories are what make us human and I think we forget that some days. I’m glad to be reminded now and again.
Revisiting the place I called morning view during my last visit to Barcelona in October.
I stayed in @kabul_party_hostel that opened its windows to the beautiful Placa Reial 🌴
Which hostel do you think is the best in Barcelona?
I love buying clothes that you can get multiple wears from. My @thelabellife green pants are one of those casually chic pants that I have styled in multiple ways and have always been happy with the results!
What’s your go to item in the closet that you love styling?
I don’t think I have many pictures on Instagram where I’m smiling with my teeth.
The reason is simple - I’m extremely insecure about my smile, I don’t like the way my teeth look.
Looking at this picture from last night I realised maybe all the pictures, that made me vow never to smile with my teeth again, never had my real smile.
People can’t smile for real when they don’t see an actual reason for it! So maybe instead of holding on to my insecurities forever I should look for reasons that genuinely make me happy and result in a real smile!
Don’t let your insecurities limit you! Keep Smiling (with or without teeth 😉)
