“Keep your mind open to opportunities. They are closer than you think and when it knocks on your door, always be willing to take a chance, because you never know how perfect something could turn out to be”
I left Morocco this morning and now sitting at Heathrow reflecting on this really rather incredible 5 weeks. Here, is where it all began 5 weeks ago in Oia, Santorini where we commenced a family holiday we shall never forget. From there, we travelled to Milos (my girls fave) 🙌🏻 followed by magnificent Spain 🇪🇸 A teary farewell to my family as they headed home to school and work whilst I carried the baton proudly to Portugal (it’s a tough gig 😉) to commence our culinary tour there. Wow.... and more wow! Here, I was blessed to meet some of the most generous and kind people who welcomed us with open arms. Their smiles, hospitality, stunning wines (ummmm.... hello!) and food were all unforgettable. The fabulous guests who became dear friends that joined us for this adventure, heightened all that we did. I was so lucky (again) to have such wonderful companions. Thank you to you all with a very full heart.
William and I then travelled to Morocco for an inspection tour (next year we are hosting our tour in Morocco in case you missed that news flash) that became a love affair for this country and it’s huge hearted people. When I arrived at the airport this morning, I was offered the most sincere hug from the man who bought me there. He held me close and said ‘thank you so much for visiting my country’. I found myself with very watery eyes and so incredibly grateful for the love and welcome we have felt wherever we have travelled.
I feel the pull of home now. There are three incredible daughters, one almighty husband and a fluffy Ned that I just cannot wait to also hold in my arms... close.... as I thank them too.
Thank you to all who made this possible and the love we felt at every step.
So I decided to try Kombucha today... And you know what it wasn't half bad and, from what I know, it is very good for you. All organic! 😊
The best part, they sell them in a little convince store in my soon to be new office building! Excited to move downtown to work again soon!! 🎉
The Ganesha Mudra.
One of my fav's - Ganesha the remover of obstacles. Yes Please.
Try this mudra to relieve any obstructions in your life. As we are dealing with stressful times I find this gives me a little boost of courage.
Draw your awareness to your heart. ❤️
-Put your Left Hand in front of your heart with your palm facing out and left thumb down. 👎🏼 .
Put your Right Hand in front of your left with your right palm facing toward you and your left palm (right thumb up). 👍🏼 .
Interlock your fingers together, holding them in half-bent like a claw.
While you meditate, inhale deep and tug outwardly on your hands as you exhale without unlocking your fingers. Repeat this motion up to six times, then reverse your hands (put your right hand in front of your chest facing outward with the thumb down...). Keep it even. Do the same number of times in each direction for balance.
Here's to clearing the path. ✨🙏🏼 #mudrameditation#ganapati#ganeshisfresh#mnhfoto
