Until we moved here I never used to get excited to go home from a vacation. I used to DREAD leaving our getaways and traveling to have to go back to “normal” life. I would post on Instagram phrases like “never coming home”. People would ask us in other countries what places in the United States we loved to visit. We would always say California and they would respond that their dream would be to visit CA one day, or maybe never.
They would ask us if we loved it so much then didnt we didn’t just live there? It was so simple. Why didn’t we just live in the place we loved? Where we always couldn’t wait to visit?
It’s been 8 months since we moved to LA and we have Zero regrets. Now after vacations I CANT WAIT to get home. I love our home, our community, our hustles, and our life. Don’t settle. Do what makes you truly happy and never look back. 🖤 PS thanks for the presets @tezzamb they are dope! .
Everything was so lovely decorated on Gili Trawangan. Especially on the west side the beach bars were beautiful decorated 😍
The sunset was amazing and we enjoyed great evening vibes 🌅
Have you ever been at the Gili Islands?

this photo is a bit symbolic for the city of medellin as we experienced it.
you’ll find a big mixture of old and new, high-rising and temporary buildings, grey and colorful, all sorounded by green parks and mountains.
we already miss medellín and are coming back for sure.
A little sneak peak into our lives lately. There was a @bangsshoes post recently to share your “space” and I was humming and hawing because I don’t have a “space” right now and I haven’t since moving out of NZ months ago. My space changes daily, by the minute, on our little pink Scoopy. I’m appreciating my “space” as being anywhere with @adam.estacio and this well-loved, rusty @peakdesign bag holding my most treasured and simplified belongings. ↠✧ #bangsspace

Who doesn’t love a good breakfast? 🍳
This was a cute little cafe in Charlottenburg. We got some bread and side dishes to go with the bread. It was nice to have some healthy breakfast for a change!
Thank you Lana for hosting us and taking us to breakfast! Come visit us in Vancouver (when we do get back) 😆❤️
Did you know that #Kauai grows more #taro than any other Hawaiian island?⠀
Taro is the staple of the native Hawaiian diet and at the core of the Hawaiian culture. Hawaiians believe the taro plant to be sacred. Taro, called “kalo” in Hawaiian, is central to the native Hawaiian creation story. 🌴
