Azores are a nature lovers paradise 😍. The archipelago in the middle of the Atlantic has the most dramatic landscapes with breathtaking waterfalls! Is this on your bucket list?
Ever tried mountain snuggles? Mountain snuggles are the best because they magically keep you incredibly warm and completely give you inner peace. Or at least mountain snuggles with @lovelylittlejunglelife does anyway 😉😘

What you see in endless Instagram pictures is nothing compared to what you witness with your own eyes. Woven around a vertical cliff around 3000 feet above the valley, this will easily become the highlight of your trip.
The four hour altitude trek to the monastery is considered moderate to difficult and the oxygen levels are down to 70%, which means you are tested both physically and mentally. The uphill climb is almost right away and despite the chilly weather you are sweating profusely. Concentrating on your breathing helps and at every twist the glimpse of the monastery teases you to get closer.
All through the hike, colorful prayer flags billow in the breeze motivating you to move on. The last leg of the climb is a stairway that covers the most stressing 800 steps ever. And yes, you have the soundtrack of rushing water from an icy waterfall for company.
With every step to your destination, Gautama Buddha's teaching rings clear, " No one saves us but ourselves. No one can and no one may. We ourselves must walk the path." #Tigersnest , #paro , #trekker#picoftheday ,#bhutan , #bhutantrip , #tigersnesttrek , #traveldiaries#travelling , #beautifulbhutan , #wanderluster#wanderlust#travelinggram#travelandliving , #traveller

When we were hiking through Garden of the Gods we came across this really cool rock formation, with this lone tree standing in front of it. This was one of the only grey rock formations in the park, and the way the tree stood in front of it was almost meditative. Every turn through this beautiful park was filled with something amazing to see!
16- to 18-day festival for all the carzys in the world who don’t have the stomach for beer.
Running from mid or late September to the first weekend in October (so don’t ask why it’s called Octoberfest when the majority runs in September. I just think it’s brilliant #marketing ), with more than 6 million people from around the world attending - whilst most of the locals are escaping 😝 - the event every year.
Locally, it is called the ‘Wiesn’. Und des werds a bleim! (And it will remain that way). As one would say in #bavaria .
