Starting this weekend, you'll have the chance to see one of the coolest public art installations--the fog sculpture! By Japanese artist Fujiko Nakaya, these sculptures are created entirely of water vapor, and respond to the climate changes throughout the day. They will roll into parks along the famous Boston Emerald Necklace. Through installations like this, the city of Boston advocates for the creation of innovative and transformative art, and enrich the lives of Boston citizens.

“DNA replication” Channeling this drawing came to me intuitively, and just upon its completion, its vision became manifested. The vision wasn’t expressed to me in a rigid form, but I felt it in my body, in my biotic organic movements. And those raw movements were just a symbol of my internal biology. It felt that it was an imprinted shift in my DNA. It felt like at a particular precise moment, a new space was expanding itself, and that’s when I started to draw.
This painting represents a big turning point in my creative life. 🌸After years of working small-scale, crafting cut paper collages for my greeting card business, in 2015 I took the plunge and signed up for @florabowley ‘s Bloom True Intuitive Painting workshop. 🌸 I hadn’t painted large scale in nearly a decade, and it was thrilling to use my whole body to dance across the canvas again, to spread out and be big, bold & messy! 🌸 After attending art school in 1998, my creative spark went into hiding after receiving harsh negative feedback about my intuitive, colorful, busy & improvisational painting style. The school I attended heavily valued conceptual work and I was all about beauty & play & fun! 🌸 Watching Flora masterfully compose a painting by building up layers of fluid acrylic paint blew me wide open. The joy, freedom & trust in her process gave me license to do the same, and ever since then, my creative energy has been overflowing! 🌸 And as a teacher, Flora’s kindness, presence and generosity has inspired me in the way I teach Active Dreaming. 🌸 and.... I’ve been nurturing a seed of offering painting & creativity classes that combine Active Dreamwork and Intuitive Painting. Is that something you’d be into? I’d love to hear! 🌸 May your creativity flow unbounded and bring energy and vitality to all you create! 🌸 Fertile Dimension 3’x3’ Prints available DM me 🌸
BLOWN AWAY by the artistry. Writing, direction, performances, design. BRILLIANT...and an impromptu @nytw79 The Seven reunion with @justinellingtonmusic and @jamyldobson. Side note: the play made me want to be in love again. 😳 #transformativeart#blackart

When people partner intimately — either as a couple or as a community — they often get tangled up at the root chakra level. If there’s a breakup, it can feel as if you’re dying. Not metaphorically dying, but actually dying.
At the level of subtle energy, your root connection to the earth *is* your survival. So it makes sense that if you share a root level bond with someone(s) and you separate from them, your energy body will feel threatened in a very visceral way.
To restore your sense of wellbeing, it’s imperative that you restore your own personal root connection to the earth. Get grounded with simple earth practices: time in nature, nourishing food, exercise.
Practice saying your own name out loud and sending it down your grounding cord. Do this as many times as it takes to feel that you have your own personal, unique, unequivocal connection to the earth.
The earth is the ground of your being. The cosmos is the context of your being. That particular person or community is your companion, not your Source.
The image is of a painting I did over the course of many years (finished in 2009) that reflects the transformative process of untangling my root chakra from a former marriage.
One only gets better if one continues to draw the lines and make the circles. It’s never been about tricks, jumps or excessive movement it’s about style and grace! There is nothing about me that is former.
I am a continuum forever growing, moving, learning, loving and giving! #transformativeart#iamadancer
First addition to the #dreamcatcher . We’re stopped in Georgia, on the most beautiful property. Meandering through birch trees, came this thought. ....
It feels like floating and wading through mud.
Turning sweet fruit over your tongue,
Just for a moment.
There’s a breeze
That carries the tunes
Of melodies past sung,
By the locusts and trees.
A heavy joy is buried here, under the bark.
Under that sacred sense of familiarity,
That will dash through your vision.
Two back doors with worn handles,
In someone else’s house. ....
I know where tho piece will fit which is why it’s not attached yet. More pics to come ✨
You can still enter the #giveaway (and get all that info) on my last post!
