Kinesiology is a non-invasive modality that combines the western science principles of biofeedback and biomechanics with eastern energetic healing practises of acupressure, chakras, meridians, emotional stress diffusion and more.
Using the gentle art of muscle monitoring, a Kinesiologist can identify where there is stress in the body and the most effective way to restore balance for that individual, allowing the body, mind and emotions to heal using the bodys own natural abilities.
It's through the remarkable biofeedback mechanism of muscle monitoring that the subconscious can be accessed allowing us to follow the trail of clues the body provides for healing. And in some ways even more significantly, muscle monitoring not only directs us to the cause/s but is then capable of also directing us to the remedy to resolve these problems. This is why I love kinesiology, we listen to YOUR body and apply the techniques required. - Levy, Lehr, O'Neill & Daniels -

Coming up to holiday time always reminds me of Broome... I love how relaxed it makes me feel to be there. I often bring the feeling of being there on the beach in the warmth into my meditation to help me feel calm and relaxed. Next time you meditate try visualising your favourite relaxing place, bringing in as much detail as possible to help you feel calm and relaxed.
Thanks to @from.miles.away for beautiful pics ❤

This Week's Mantra for Meditation: - Every cell of my being vibrates at a healthy frequency -
This is the mantra I've been using this week for my meditation practise. Feel free to use this too if you'd like to feel healthier, feel the change in your body when you repeat this to yourself in meditation, allowing all other thoughts to slip to the back of your mind and simply float away.
Hope you enjoy, cheers Julie

Having trouble relaxing or sleeping? Feeling anxious? Fear of flying?
This could help you... I like to use Alternate Nostril Breathing to calm myself and bring my heart rate and blood pressure down. I've just done a quick video to show you how.... Tip: Try and keep your inhales and exhales of even length.
And once you've got the hang of it try and incorporate a hold in-between breaths. See resources below for more info or see the full video on our Facebook Page... thetranquilsoulwa/
Here's some great background info from mindbodygreen.com: "Nadi shodhana, or alternate nostril breathing, has a long history in Ayurvedic medicine and yoga, where it’s thought to harmonize the two hemispheres of the brain, resulting in a balance in physical, mental and emotional well-being. While science has yet to really explore what might be going on in terms of hemispheric functioning during this practice, recent studies have confirmed some pretty powerful effects of this practice.
So here are three good reasons for practising this pranayama:
1. It activates the parasympathetic nervous system and reduces blood pressure.
2. It enhances respiratory functions: increases respiratory strength and endurance.
3. It improves attention and fine-motor co-ordination and performance.
So … nadi shodhana is good for our hearts; good for our lungs; and good for our heads." Ready to get started?
