How often do we say 'yes' when we know intuitively that it's not good for us? How many times will you ignore your 'gut feeling' only to feel later that you knew you should have listened?
I am currently being forced to say 'no' to everything and everyone in my life. My body has completely shut down to the point that I can't even talk. Its frustrating and sometimes infuriating but I have no choice but to listen to my body & my gut feelings. I either listen or cause myself more pain. I have two choices- I fight against it and worry and wonder why, causing myself more emotional and physical pain, or I go with it with eyes wide open. I do the work. Intuitively I know there is a reason. I have to pay attention and do what needs to be done to heal my body & soul.
Challenges bring our attention to what changes we need to make and what areas we need to grow - if we allow it.
