💥BODY TYPES - is it a Myth?💥
Conclusion: No, it’s not a Myth, however it should not be the only reasoning behind how you train or how you eat. It may be a good way for beginners to start experimenting. There’s no such thing as the ‘perfect’ diet or program.
The problem is that these categories were originally described in the early-1940s by Dr. William Sheldon, a psychologist, who was using them as a way of predicting personality traits based on one's general appearance. It had nothing at all to do with actual physical improvement.
This is the problem with people being so quick to slap one of these labels on themselves. It simply doesn't have any real world translation to how they should be training or eating.
If you solely rely on body-typing you will get no where unless you stop trying to use psychological terms to influence you physical preparation. Drop the labels and deal with yourself as an individual.
However, it can be a good place to start for beginners. The best way to find out what training method / diet works best for you is TRIAL AND ERROR.
Aim to experiment and monitor how a program or diet makes you feel. Fitness is a process; be patient and experiment. Trust the process and eventually you will find the right diet and exercise program for YOU.
Stay Healthy 💚 Peace ✌️

Here are a few habanero health benefits to keep in mind when your throat is on fire: 🔥
1. LOWERS YOUR CHOLESTEROL. Eating these terrifyingly tasty treats has been shown to lower bad cholesterol. In a 1985 study published in “Artery” it was shown that the capsaicin in habaneros reduced cholesterol.
2. REDUCE BLOOD PRESSURE. The capsaicin in habaneros also has been shown to also reduce high blood pressure. Apparently, capsaicin stimulates the increase of the insulin-like growth factor IGF-I which reduces blood pressure.
3. FIGHTS WEIGHT GAIN. Can capsaicin help you control your weight? It sure can! Capsaicin increases thermogenesis throughout the body. The process of thermogenesis is what is involved in the raising and lowering of body temperature and if you increase that, you increase metabolism. 🔥
4. CANCER PREVENTION. Because of the combinations of high content of vitamins C and A and capsaicin, this little pepper can prevent cancer in a big way by inhibiting the growth of cancer cells (particularly prostate) and by preventing the negative effects of free radicals.
Enough reasons to accept the dare of biting into a habanero pepper? Maybe you should start slow by adding a bit to your next taco. However you choose to eat the habanero, it may bring your tongue comfort to know that you are receiving multiple health benefits by eating the hot and healthy habanero.

@jennsulewski - Two days out vibes -
Since it’s peak week things have been very calm, relaxed, and low key for me. Today’s consisted of last cardio session, some small errands and getting my show nails/toes done. Otherwise yeah all I’ve been doing this week is watching Disney classic movies on Netflix... tonight’s choice will be Mulan 😂 so just Incase you wanted to know how peak week really is goes.
But as far as my workouts this week they weren’t anything too crazy, just enough to get some good blood flow to the muscles like coach said. You definitely aren’t training to get sore or cause any lactic acid build up in the muscles. That’s a no no 🙅🏼♀️ So here’s the other half of the clip from my last good leg workout last week!
FT members, be proud. You come into the Centre for a reason.
At times we’re all so focused on where we want to be, that we miss where we’re at now.
Character is built not at the destination stage of training, its built throughout the journey!
Don’t forget to give yourself a pat on the back... many don’t have the drive or willpower to begin what you have started. Be proud of where you are 🤙👊.
If you wish to start your own journey, come in to FT! Your only regret will be that you didn’t start sooner!!
