When you fall in love with Running You fall in love with struggle and when you fall in love with struggle You fall in love with Life. I started running full time again at the end of Aug . I had decided that my personal fitness goal would be to run 13.1 miles (half marathon ) It takes good 20 weeks to train this kind of event. Each week you had on the mileage on, to you able to consistently running 25-30km a week. This week I’m up to 13.5 out my 17km goal. At the first of week a had a run kick crap out of me. Lovin how #zwift integrates with my #trainingpeaks pre loaded workouts from my coach. Allows me to focus on doing the prescribed workout without having to constantly worry about adjusting resistance or knowing what interval is next.
Also had a great swim lesson focusing on endurance followed by an amazing PT session to figure out what’s causing my ankle issues. I think we found the culprit and will begin making adjustments to how I train along with mobility and isolation exercises focusing on the weak and imbalanced areas. Once we fix the underlying causes I can get back to running! Running makes me happy 😃

This race has always been very special but now it means the world to because it represents so many things.
It represents the courage to change things that made me unhappy at one time, with my body and with my life. The courage to try something completely foreign to me, like triathlon. The courage to allow myself to really be passionate and be the best version of myself possible. The courage to keep trying and trying and never give up ...
AND then the courage to believe in myself beyond anything I ever thought I would have to. To literally learn to walk again, swim again and with a lot of help find the strength to be on my bike again. I am stronger than I ever thought possible and I go into this race with so much gratitude and so much love.
Thank you to everyone that has been with me through this year. The year that literally could have taken me away. Thank you for so many friendships and so much love. Thank you for the guidance and the knowledge! Thank you for always making me feel so much love. So laufen war ich auch und zwar kurz und knackig. Das Programm bestand heute aus 5 x 100 m Sprint 60 Sekunden Pause mit ein und auslaufen natürlich 😎✌️wünsche euch alles gute ... wie immer auch Privat ❤️ ps: die 100m waren 20/18/18/17/17 Sekunden jeweils!

Coach @lbruck climbed on the podium after a solid sub 5hr race for a 70.3!

My second challenge⛰
After the sant joan de mediona marathon cup, i started to train, following the Optimized Time Training Program by Chris Carmichael one of the co-funder of training peaks. I really recommend this book, is a good way to train if you don’t have enough time.. I was doing intensity session during 12 week and it’s incredible how i improve my performance on the bike. 3 crashes but getting good feeling during the race. Top 30 open cat.⠀
